i don't think cavities has anything to do with it.
i've never had any cavities and my teeth were horrible.

and trust me, ya don't want braces if you only have a minor misplacement. it's expensive, painful, and just annoying.

usually, the way teeth grow in is the way they stay, but once you start moving them, the teeth decide they want to keep moving, the bastards.

i sucked my thumb from when i was newborn to nine and had THE worst case of buck teeth ever. it was hilariously cute. (in pictures from back then)

i bit my nails a lot going into high school because i didn't know anyone, and that's around the time i broke my retainer.

with school and the fact that i'm apparently getting braces on my bottom front teeth soon, no one would want to deal with it.

ah, well i'm 17 and live in a somewhat city-ish place with a lot of businesses close by enough for me to walk to (no license yet) but with the economy being total shit and a lot of places failing, no one wants to hire a minor.
