kinda true. for me it depends on the situation i get myself into.

Yeah, I guess I have been lucky to have my parents.
It's just that I am really having trouble coping with what is going on right now.

Well, I'm 17. And the places we went to were bars and they bitched at me about it. Well, it's mostly all b/c I don't have money. But still, I've seen no evidence whatsoever of an NC punk scene. SO...

Well, I've only been to two shows. WHen I was an eighth grade poser, I went to go see that pop duo The Veronicas (I still like them) at the House of Blues in South Carolina. THe headliner was Ashlee SImpson (yuck). THe Veronicas didn't show b/c one of them was really bad off sick and my mother passed out in the most worst excuse for a moshpit ever, so we left early. We also lost $140 (including gas to get there, tickets, hotel expenses, and HOB merch to pass the line). So that blew.

Then, in 10th grade I was the lead singer of a gay-ass poser christian "Metal" band for like...two weeks. I hated the band members and their music, but they hired me (so they could use me) to enter in this Battle of the Bands competition in Raleigh. They asked me if I was christian (b/c they are discriminatory, sexist, radicals) and I told the truth and said "Well, I can understand their beliefs, but..." THey cut me off and yelled "YOu're in." I really only did it for them to be nice and I figured that it would help me get used to the "being in a band" scene. They didn't even have a bass played b/c they were too lazy to find one and they lied to me. They were gross too. Anyway, since there were other bands there, and random people not in the bands could pay to go see the competition, I guess you could say that was my second show.

Both experiences suck, so I usually just say I've never been to a show.

Where I live, there is NO punk scene and emos think they're punk. So basically, all the shows here are either mainstream poop, too expensive, or I'm not old enough too attend (and the bouncers are real tough and real good at catching people who sneak in, so...everyone who sneaks in always gets caught, so there is no point). NC sucks.

Ugh. I am ok, I guess. It is just that my parents aren't getting along to well. And I feel guilty for my mom being unhappy. If I was never born, than my parents would be divorced and my mom would be happier. I just have a lot of guilt right now about the fact that I was even born. My mom said to my dad that she wishes that they had never met. If that is so, than she wishes I was never born right?

I just feel really upset right now and don't know what to do. Did I mention that my mom is a borderline? Ugh. It is tearing our family apart as the seconds go by. I am so close to falling off my emotional cliff, like last year. I was hoping this wouldn't happen again, but it seems it is. Back to old emo me. :(

Yeah, the reason they did that is b/c in the book, Kansas was grey and dull and Dorathy was amazed when she saw how beautiful Oz was.
