Wow that's so crazy sad but it makes me happy to hear he has friends like you and that he's getting better! I'm so glad that chapter could help you in some way. That is by far the #1 compliment writers love to hear, that we could actually help someone connect with a part of our story, no matter how small. That whole part was mostly inspired by a friend of mine as well and it just sucks how it's sometimes the people you least expect. like ever since the day I met him he was already one of the sweetest, funniest people I've ever met in my life and he gets along with EVERYONE at school because he's just so open to everyone and he's so funny and for a while I kind of got sucked into his group of friends and we just all clicked so well and they're like my best friends now but I was always pretty intrigued by this guy and I would notice that when he was alone or separated from the group when we all hung out, he would just get really awkward and quiet and it got to a point where my friend and i had a conversation about it and we just felt like the whole "funny guy" thing was just an act because he would just shut down on us sometimes and whenever I tried to talk to him about it, he'd laugh it off and say something like "I'm never sad!" I haven't seen him in a while but I know he knows he has a lot of close friends he can always go to for anything but it just sucks seeing someone who's so kind and helpful and full of life struggle with something. Anyways, you'll learn a little more about the character later and I hope I don't let you down! Again, thanks for trusting me and sharing that!
