(the flashback is when damions watching him sleep, kinda, right?)
Then it can like knock him out of this thoughts cz he thinks he's going to wake up or something like that

by danny i mean damion xD

You could maybe cut out the flash back at one point, or leave it at his dad shouting him and then have danny thinking something about him finding out what he has to go through on that day, then you could like carry on with the story and go back to the parts of the flashback you've already done a bit later on or something like that
