oh I know what you mean. it's not that they're bad or anything, it just seems sometimes like they're trying too hard to sound sophisticated or something. or they're trying too hard to make people like it. you get what I mean?
it's like you want to like the story, but you just can't get into it sometimes.

I'm glad my idea was destined to be so n__n well, maybe not "great" exactly,
but at least good! :)
i'm reading Catastrophe right now ~ currently halfway through chapter three. I love it! You can definitely expect your subscriber count to go up :)

Haha. I love you too. Maybe you could read one of my stories? It Started with a Bet is the first one and Operation Beautiful is the sequel. But you don't actually have to read them in order.

As for more encouraging words...well... let's see.

I love how original [i]Catastrophe[/i] is. Many people are like "Hey! I'm using a cool looking emo guy for my main character!" And they're character will be nowhere near an actual emo. I never really mind, I just roll my eyes and go "Well, whatever floats your boat" but with your story emo actually [i]means[/i] something. It's more than just an attractive haircut or whatever. So yeah. And the way she cares about Collin is adorable! I feel bad for Adam, though. I don't want him to get hurt and its so obvious he loves her! (Well...that's what I think anyway. I could be wrong and they just have a platonic relationship on both sides). And than I'm worried that even if they do have a platonic relationship Collin won't be okay with it. But that's like [i]way[/i] down the line, right?

Also, loved the beginning description of all the stereotypical stories. I was like "yeah. that is a problem."

As for Subway...I would say that my only criticism of it is that the beginning isn't very catchy. Maybe its the fact that you have a bunch of rather large blocks of text at the beginning. Personally, I scrolled down until I saw some dialogue before reading. It could be just me at that moment because I've been staring at a computer screen for a while now, but one of the big rules of computer text is that people don't like long paragraphs the way they do in books. It's harder to read, especially with the glow of the computer screen, etc. If it was on a Kindle or something it wouldn't matter.

But what I like about Subway is that it's also an original idea and I love the characters! Sure, when I see that pic of Lindsey I'm like "hmmm...pre druggie, I hope" but the green-eyed guy? Very interesting. He must me deaf-therefore-mute, right? That's the only reason I can think of for him acting that way. Though, if so, you'd think he'd have learned to read lips by now. I'm very interested to see where this story goes, so please don't give up!
