Yikes. That does sound pretty mental. Good for your dad for standing up to her though. I'm just grateful that my grandmother technically isn't my biological grandmother. She's actually my step dad's mom. She's never let me call her grandmother or anything like that though. She's always made me call her by her first name. She basically treats our entire family like she's so above us all and then turns around and acts like she's the best mom/grandma in the world and we should be basically falling over ourselves to impress her. So yeah I can totally relate to the sexist thing too. My grandmother basically insinuated when I graduated from high school that I should only go to college to find a nice husband to take care of me. So yeah she's pretty crazy. So I just kind of avoid her as much as I can and let everything she tells me go in one ear and out the other. I think that's all you really can do with people who act like that.

lol thanks for the comment. Your grandma should hang out with my grandmother jk. The whole Aunt Ruth character's personality is sort of loosely based on my grandmother's and a few of my other more obnoxious relatives personalities.

I just know some really touchy people who would snap at me if I told them that.
Yeah, I try and write the whole thing through and then go back and add more details that are nice to know and it seems to help me. I've been trying to write a lot more latley.

Hey, don't feel so bad if you don't have a lot of comments, writing takes practice and it makes you feel better usually, despite what others think. If I may make a suggestion, you can totally throw this out the window, it's just a suggestion, is maybe slow down a bit? I read 'It Was Easier Not Loving You' and everything just seemed to happen so fast. That's my problem too and why I resort to phography and poetry, I always rush it and I have so many ideas that I can't get them all down fast enough. But like I said, it was just a suggestion.

That's terrible. Really it is. People are such assholes. But I do understand how that would hurt you. It really sucks when you think that a person loves you when they don't really. I feel bad for him =(.

That's absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I can see why that would be bothersome for you. And honestly, I can't believe that someone could act like that to someone who they supposedly love. And man, the timing to tell him that you aren't ready for a serious relationship is definitely NOT one day after your anniversary with a person. That's so heartless.

I hope your nephew is safe and they put his ex in a sanitarium. -_- bitches these days. I'm sorry you've had such a tough time.

That's terrible!! It's very strange though, because something very similar happened to my sister. She was driving straight down the road when suddenly this old bitch ran her car into my sister's side. The driver door is completely destroyed, and this woman tried to blame my sister saying that she ran into her. This is ridiculous because you don't drive sideways. Stupid bitch. Anyway, I'm sorry that happened to you. And I thought I was having a tough week.

I know how it is. -_- My best friend couldn't see them when they came on their last tour because her mom thinks they're a bad influence. But I know what you mean.

Well, soon after you're 18th then. At that point, you'll be a legal adult and can buy whatever the hell your heart desires. I guess I'm lucky that my mom loves Green Day almost as much as I do.

My sister got me tickets to see an interview with Billie Joe and Michael Mayer in regards to American Idiot on broadway. And right after they concluded the interview, my sister and I ran through traffic to where his car was and waited an hour until he left. We were right in front and as he was coming out he signed my playbill and gave me a half hug through the gates. I was shaking. And Adrienne was there too!!! I hope that at some point it happens to you! I'm sure it will, Billie Joe makes it really easy to get to meet fans. You just have to be really connected to the internet and research any events in your area. =D
