lol jeff carter is quiet. richie (his best friend) has said that numerous times. richie is sort of a ladies man i know this because i know people who go to temple where he used to party and G is extremely shy. not so much around his friends but if i didnt know that he got mono when he was in juniors i would think he was prude lol he has said it himself, along with paul bissonette that if a girl doesnt make the first move which they never do with him he doesnt talk to them cause he is too scared

its not really rich people who go to md its just that the ghetto people stay in jersey if they even go on vacay. i go away like out of the country lol so i cant really relate. i dont like deleware or Virginia because they people there are really weird (not you if course).

i think you will be okay with what you wrote now. i dont think people really mind. jeff is really quiet and so if richie so you are already changing the characters a lot. also G is the quietest guy in the world. he isnt anything like a partier and no one has an issue with his character! .....the story is great. dont change it.

you cant really walk to any of the bars or anything there but sea isle isnt really a young crowd so i dont think there are even clubs there but there are a couple bar-restaurants on the bay and just regular bars around that almost always have bands playing. especially the ones facing the bay! so people go there and dance. other than the beach the only thing you can do there is movies, mini golf, i think there is go carting, and than light house tours. but its probably a 25 min drive over the bridge to wildwood and there is a board walk there.

i do live in the philly area and im in sea isle at least twice a year. i also live like 40 mins away from lancaster! i didnt know anyone trained there. its all Amish people and it smells like horse shit lmao!

keep in mind the reason carter likes sea isle is because it is super quiet. people dont go there unless their family has a beach house. it is a family town. you will never find a group of young adults renting a house there for the week. however over the bridge in wildwood thats all you find. but everyone in wildwood is from philly (but usually the bad part of philly because its cheaper to rent in wildwood than in ocean city). ocean city, nj is where all the people from philly go who have money. and also ocean city maryland but that is like a 5 hour drive from sea isle.

another thing is that jeffs house is maybe a 20-30 min ride to Atlantic city! ......that is probably something you can use!

so i read your comment this morning and i couldn't stop laughing. please don't think i am super weird but i do know about carts sea isle house! my best friend was and still is in love with him and when he got traded she cried for a day! her family friend has a beach house in sea isle on the same street as Jeff but they never said anything because they didn't want to be that crazy neighbor especially because it was his beach house! so when he got traded they told her to come down for the day and when she got there she sat in their drive way (nonchalantly) and waited for Jeff to come outside. luckily enough it was trash day and he was taking out the trash and she walked past him and was like "uhm excuse me" and he looked up and said "hello" ....than she started crying and said "i cant act like i don't know who you are, im sorry im just going to miss you so much when you go to columbus" ......he was really cool about it he hugged her and explained that trades are a part of business and that he hopes she will still be a fan. she laughed at that because honestly he could become the captain of the penguins and she would still love him! lol anyway the reason why i know about his house is because of that! ........ Jeff"s house is two houses down the street from the beach! (vertically) its one of the ones that the garage is the bottom level than a balcony on top of that and the door on the left! its really nice! the area around his house is sort of like families. its not tourist at that area its more like the people that go to the beach for the entire summer. hes probably about 15mins for the town part where all the side restaurants are and the wawa's also the beaches in sea isle are very nice but they tend not to get very crowded especially where he is because it is a private beach. people fish a lot at night on the beach and the only real difference about sea isle is that there are jetties every couple streets. i hope that helps!! :)

I must admit that I come to this story with some preconceived notions. I am not normally a Flyers fan, so maybe some of that is clouding my perception of Claude's motivations. Once I strip some of that back, I see what direction you are going in.

But I am enjoying your story. You have helped to change my option of Giroux. I am actually routing for Claude to be the good guy that Ashley deserves.

I am assuming you mean that G will see that the others are such dogs that he realizes he is not that guy any more and realizes that having one girl to come home to is a much better way to live.

Yes, it definitely appears that Claude really wants to change - and wants to change for Ashley. They all eventually grow up and realize that the partying and the random women are not what they want anymore and look for a good woman to "settle down" with.

But you are right that Claude is new to the whole "boyfriend" thing - and I anticipate that he wont always make the right choices. None of them do! But I do think it may be more difficult to make the adjustment around Carter and such, as they are not known for making good choices in their private lives.

Hopefully Ashley will see that Claude is trying to reform his image - for her - and will give him the benefit of the doubt when the bumps in the road appear.

write away. I've read a few, but Football is my go to sport I didn't start watching hockey until two years ago when a really close friend joked around and asked me to prom and we wore lightning colors as a joke since they made it to the play offs.

Its such a shame that i'm a fan of the cons (bengals) but that's just because i grew up around them. I'm currently dealing with the ultimate football fan crisis of Paterno, and that situation. I agree with that. I'm currently writing a pens story I have no character right now that it's solely about. I keep toying with who it will be but have yet to figure out which character it will be but I can't decided. I understand the reading a well written story even if you don't like the player i've done it a few times.
I don't follow hockey a lot, which means a lot of times I just blindly follow the plot. That's also because i'm a huge football fan. (I feel so evil saying that.)

Yes with claude I was having trouble wondering if he was a really patient guy - which most guys are not - or was he a calculating player - which he seemed to have tendancies of in the past.

But with your latest chapter, it became more apparent that he has grown up and he is really into Ashley. The other thing that I thought was sweet was him asking her to help with his golf tournament - almost like acting as hostess. He would not do that if he was just trying to get in her pants. It would be something that a "girlfriend" would do. Maybe???
