thanks for commenting on my story! I'm glad you love it. you mentioned, though, Mitch not noticing Joel's scars and I wanted to clear things up so you werent confused :) in a previous author's note, I explained that the time passing in Joel's point of view is a lot different than the time that was passing in Mitch's. therefore, Joel's stitches were removed by the time him and Mitch were reunited. now, if you haven't read the author's note I can see how that may be quite confusing! also, there is a scar (that is recognized later in the story) but it was night time and due to dim lighting Mitch was unable to see the scar. I intended on saying something about dim lighting but knowing myself I forgot to! oh well, might go back and change that now that I've fixed things.
Okay, that's good then. Great, but you might want to go back and fix it again; the only things showing up are the title, picture, and chapter links; everything else is like white words on white background.
Thank you so much for your comment. Alyssa and I appreciate all the love we get and it keeps us writing. :) You're encouragement helps us help you. Thanks again.
Ok well in that case, it might not be that fair to put it in comment swap. I personally don't have a problem with how you've done your story, especially because you said something like "if you don't like the poem form, don't read it", so had I clicked on it and wasn't obliged to read and comment, I would have hit the back button because it's just not for me. But in comment swap, it's a bit tricky, you know? As I said, people are expecting a story story, not a poem story. I don't mean to come off offensive or anything, I just want you to consider it. It's such a unique situation; I've never come across it before.
I actually take that as a huge compliment, thank you! I'm sorry it made you sad, but as a writer that makes me feel very accomplished :) And yes, great point about Landon's mom not hearing them, but I did in fact think ahead with that! Landon's mom's room is on the other side of the house. Still, great observation! New chapter is already being written, and I'm guessing no longer than a few days until it's up. Thanks for reading and commenting. Especially the long comment, I love those. :)
Thanks so much for the comment! I thought Bedtime was just another story in the archives of stories that no longer have people reading them. Your comment really brightened my day...and gave me hope that maybe I'm not all that terrible of a writer! :)
But how's life goin??
