Any time!!! What can I say, I read what I like and I like what I read. And as to my poems, I'm not one of those people who demands you comment if I comment on your stuff. Don't worry if you don't read them because I won't get all offended hahaJanuary 4th, 2011 at 04:22am

Oh, no offence taken :) Maybe it just reads weirdly to me, but it really does seem that the tense changes in this stanza:
she's sitting two tables across from him
a wink and a nod from the boy
silhouetted now by ceiling fan fixtures
she ambled elegantly towards him
And continues in the different tense for the rest of the poem.January 3rd, 2011 at 02:04am -
Haha, and nice comment on my photo. :)January 3rd, 2011 at 01:38am

That's really cool. I hadn't realized that the syllables had such an effect on the way it's read, though now that you've explained it, it does make sense. But... yeah. That's kind of awesome. :) Literature Major... that would explain the knowledge.
Which classes do you have to take for a Literature major?
Thanks! I enjoy your poems too!January 3rd, 2011 at 01:36am -
Thanks. You seem to know a lot about poetry, or you at least look more closely at it all in general than most people. That's pretty cool.
So, I guess rhythm and structure kind of go hand in hand, in a way? Your rhythm, I noticed, is excellent. It makes everything much more pleasant to read, whether you're looking at rhyme schemes or not. A lot of people tend to mess up rhythms a bit, but you seem pretty steady with a good rhythm.January 3rd, 2011 at 01:09am -
Alright, I see where you're coming from, too. You make a very good point. I guess it really all does boil down to personal ways. Because, I know it's a public site, I'm just more... conservative, I guess, as far as wanting everyone to be kept up as long as they can.
Thank you very much for reading some of my work, and for the comments. I do appreciate it, and honestly, I'm impressed you paid so much attention to Halls of Holly and Pine. I don't think anyone has taken notice of my rhyming scheme and syllable structure before. :) Thank you. And I don't plan my rhyme schemes, but that would be a fun idea.January 3rd, 2011 at 12:54am -
