as you know, breaking the rules of bat county is over. i went through all of the comments today, just re-reading the compliments & the opinions & everything everyone had to say about my story. i just wanted to take the time to say thank you for every comment you have ever posted. & hopefully you stick with me through breaking the pact of bat country. :)

I think you might find yourself surprised by the sequel (at least, I hope...). It's not going to revolve around her hurting, it's going to be a little different.

Well, you definitely have valid points there, but I think that Ellie's more thinking that if he really is sorry for all the crap that he did, then he'll show that he is. After all, they are by no means back together, and they won't be until Puck can prove to Ellie that he's truly sorry.

And it's no problem. I'm actually thrilled that you like Ellie's character enough to analyze her actions like you are. :)

Alright, so here's my reasoning for why she'd take him back: Rational people like you and I know that he was a total jerk and deserved to be dumped on his butt, never to be spoken to or even considered again. HOWEVER, Ellie truly does love him, no matter about the fact that he totally messed up their relationship and all the trust that she ever had for him. And love, as you probably know, is completely irrational and makes people do things that other people think they're crazy for.

Does that make any sense? I hope it does. Ha-ha. But thank you very much for commenting. :)
