Oh me too! So uncalled for. He's only human, and therefore he's going to make mistakes and struggle occasionally. Lol yeah, I'm still holding a grudge. First I had to see Chicago get knocked out by Vancouver, so the Pens were my last hope but then Tampa ruined that >:/

Oh yeah, I get that. I only moved to California about 5 or 6 years ago from Arizona and at first that's why I didn't want to go. But I think that's the whole LA/Hollywood thing. Everybody in Anaheim and Newport is pretty cool, from what I've seen anyway :) I totally agree with you. He had a colossal year, and I think some people brush him off because he's older. Same with Roloson from the Lightning. Yeah, they knocked the Pens from the playoffs so I don't necessarily like them but as an individual, he is a hell of a player, despite his age. I love Fleury so much :) He'll probably always be my favorite goalie.

Yep! Gotta love them :) They're all such great guys. Oh, I actually really like the Rangers too! Because of Marc Staal, haha, but I also think Henrik Lundqvist is an incredibly talented goaltender. Yeah, NZ and Australia would be a package deal vacation for me; I couldn't go to one without visiting the other. Hmmm...they probably don't, to be honest. Huntington is nice but a lot of the other beaches are pretty crowded and dirty :/ Hopefully that won't ruin your image of California, though!!

Yeah I definitely want to! Maybe once I graduate college, my friends and I will go :) Oh yes I love the Pens. At first I didn't, but I ended up falling in love with them when my friend made me watch their games haha. I also love the Blackhawks (obviously) and the Ducks because I live in Anaheim!

I'm glad you like my story, and I think it's very cool that you're kiwi :p I have always wanted to travel to New Zealand, so I thought that I would incorporate that into my story and I ended up doing tons of research so that it would be realistic and I'm glad that you seem to think it is! That kind of comment means a lot :)

Yeah, I've never been into the Twilight stuff. I read the books and thought they were good, but not obssessive worthy... plus I've had this idea rolling around in my mind for a while before I started the story. I'm glad you like it so much XD

April 4th-10th. I am organizing a group of my friends to go down there till probably they 9th. We will probably get an apartment or something and split costs, if you want in let me know. Think tickets where like $150 for all the games. But don't quote me on that.
No major teams like canada or the USA are playing, but Serbia will be there. It still ice hockey :-)

Yeah I've been busy with work too, and trying to edit/write my Jordan story. Ahh the winter classic jersey how awesome, did you get someone's name on the back? I havent got this years one, but I have the 08 jersey with Letang on the back, saving up for a Malkin one for my 21st.

Ah sounds like you would of had an amazing time on exchange! I went on exchange to Japan for two months, it was different lol.
Yeah i talk to them all the time, but they aren't female. My female friends think its a ridiculous sport which is stupid.
Sorry it's taken so long to reply, got way caught up in NHL11 and got called into work a few times over the weekend.

Ahh the winter olympics, good times. Yeah, i am lucky dad is american, and most of his family live over there so it made the whole process easier. I just think Quebec in general would be amazing, i don't know what it is about it but i am drawn to that canadian state more then any other state. Quebec is pretty good for ice hockey too, just think Letang, Talbot , Dupius AND the mighty Fleury are from there. I should also mention that all the french-canadian's i know of a ridiculously good looking, and have amazing accents so that is a plus!
Vous parlez français! I want to learn more French so I can speak and write it fluently. I am guessing you went to France on exchange, where abbots? Is it as beautiful as it looks in pictures?
It's nice to have a female hockey friend, because you at least can appreciate the fine specimens of the league in ways my guy friends cant. I have two friends who like it, one is from Calgary and likes the flames, and my other friend is a Ducks fan and just watches for the fights. I hardly see either of them now since they have finished uni and are in Darwin and Sydney.
Wow, Perth, so far away from Ice… and anything winter. I think I would die if I had no means of watching ice hockey. Sometimes if i get desperate i resort to playing my season game on NHL11. My mum is disappointed that I'm not more girly :/

I went to an AIHL game last year, it was good. Planning on going to a few this year too. I also hate how they are on in the middle of the day, but i usually have days off Tuesday's and Wednesday's so I can usually watch them. I looked at the program and I cant see any games until the 25th/26th, so kinda devo at that. Chicago is my second team, i only really follow Chicago and Pittsburgh. They are actually versing each other on the 21st of Feb here, which is incidentally my 21st present, so i will be watching from my laptop eagerly hoping the Pens win :)

Yeah I've been planning this for awhile, just about got my dual citizenship just waiting for the papers to come for it to be official. Yeah, i know what you mean by saving. It's damn hard! I actually semi-fluent in french, so i am keen on visiting Montreal, I am sure you'll love it in Canada it is like Hockey Paradise ^_^
I am sure they have roller hockey in Brisbane, they probably even have friendly games or something at the ice rink there.

And of course, i am not going to invite you to stay with me and not watch hockey. Your like the ONLY female australian i know who likes it so we will definitely watch a game, and discuss every aspect of the game. I can already see us having many lengthy discussions in the future.

Yeah i love it as a sport, I've grown up with it cause my father is a big fan. He is a capitals supporter and I am a staunch Penguins supporter, my love for the Pens is closely linked to my unnatural love for Mario Lemieux . Lets just say it made the winter classic very interesting. I was over the moon when they played the Winter Classic, and even more happy when they played 24/7 Live about it. I was so disappointed when I watched it, I almost cried when crosby's goal was denied, and my heartbroke for Fleury after that open netter. It was even harder watching the final episode of 24/7 knowing we lost, watching the replays and re-living the moment :/
Oohh a pens jersey i bet your excited. I think i have 3 Pens jerseys now, working on getting 2 more for my 21st. I wear mine whenever i watch the game on TV, and I am hopefully moving to Pittsburgh after i finish university. Not just for the amazing ice hockey team, but my uncle lives near there and tells me how amazing it is. So even though i hardly know you, i am sure there will be plenty of room in my apartment if you ever desire to come over and watch a live game, perhaps meet the team or something ;-)
I didn't even know there was a hockey for dummies book, thats amazing haha. I would definitely buy that book if i saw it, i am refining my rollerblading skills cause they were thinking of starting a roller hockey competition in my area. So, kinda hoping i get to play. Also trying to get down to Melbourne in April to watch the World Championships of ice hockey. So, i think it would be safe to say i am obsessed with the sport lol.

And my god if they show the All Star game i will thank them a million times. I really wish they played more games, I don't know why they don't. I am kinda annoyed One HD doesn't show it, they play the stupidest things ever.
