You keep getting your idea shot down? Why is that? You know, I barely knew/know anything about music. I just know its what I want to do. I loved it in high school and I can see me doing it in the future. Music can be an interesting subject to learn. There are all those scales, keeping tempo (which i suck at) and memorizing weird things like tonic, dominate , leading tone, and all that fun stuff.

My friend is writing a comic, on and off. Its pretty fun/cool cuz she has me as a character in there, even though its not really like me. Then there was this fun one we (my 3 friends) made up with the modern composer Robert Sheldon. (I've met him 2-3 times it was SO COOL).

I listen to christian rock--that is my favorite type of music. Though there are some classical music I like, but rarely listen to. I like Flight of the Valkyries, its a certain type of song, forgot what its called--something about playing the same thing over and over. I can't think of any others at the moment.

As for modern music, I like what my old band director liked. Robert Sheldon's pieces are fun to play. James Swearingen, John Philip Sousa, and Jacob De Haan--that's my personal fav.

Also, whoever did choral and shaker.

C.L. Barnhouse has a lot of Sheldon, Swearingen, and Sousa.

De Haan has his own website. I can visit them anytime I like.

Oh, and Festivo by Vaclav Nelhybel. That is a difficult piece to play, but I love it!
