I love Jordan Staal!! I love all the Staal's actually. I wish Jordan wasn't a Penguin and Marc wasn't a Ranger..those are two of my most hated teams

I try to mix it up too. My Brayden Schenn story is my only Flyer's one so far. I try to use other teams when I enter contests. I wrote an Erik Karlsson story and a Kris Letang story for contests. The Kris Letang one actually got assigned to me, I never would have wirtten it otherwise. I hate the Pens >_<

I would love to meet Mesz too!! I love him. Kimmo and Voracek are pretty high on my list to meet too :)

Yeah. I work Monday through Friday so I have to go on the weekend usually and its so crowded, I try to take off when my kids are off so they can go during the week. Better chances of meeting players and stuff. I think mostly everyone I have met in person was super nice. Im dying to meet Mesz, which hasnt happened so far.

I haven't been to a practice in awhile, last one I went to was back in February. But I'm trying to go to the one next friday. people on twitter say that they are coming home between the thursday and sunday games in jersey and I really want to go to the practice on the 4th because it's JVR's birthday

I haven't met any of them yet, but I would love to. I love them all. I met Danny Briere at a signing the day after my birthday. It was kind of rushed and people weren't allowed to get pictures with him so everyone could get a chance to get their autograph. But when I told him that getting to meet him was a birthday present for me, he stopped hugged me and took a picture with me :) nicest guy.

I love schenn!! <3 I went to a practice back in February and met him and then met him again at flyers wives carnival :) he is a big sweetie and quite the talker. Both times I met him he was all excited and like "hi! How are you? Thanks for coming, it was really nice to meet you! Have a nice day!" hahaha he's too adorable.

LOL your daughter is adorable!! I love Russia too, but can't stand Ovi. He has the skill, but there are far too many idiot moments to go with it.
I started out as an Avs fan, though the Pens were def up there along with the Devils. Well, probably technically i was a Mighty Ducks fan 1st lol but once i started actually watching NHL games the Avs stole my heart. Still have a huge soft spot for them too.

With the reading her well, I kinda think Mike's a quiet observer kinda guy, but also, going through it myself, I know it's actually kinda obvious when you're out of town and you still have the reactions. I mean, we're coming up to 20 months since Sept 4 and i STILL jump almost every time our neighbours slam their door.
Ugh, you are soooo lucky you have Max as ur icon.. Can't stand the Flyers!! (True story, in the 2010 finals my dad asked if they were called the "Philly Fuckwits".. even as a non-hockey fan he got them straight off =p) But i can't blame you for liking the locals.. i guess LOL If the Kings weren't playing the Blues i'd have them in the mix too.

I chose him specifically for that reason, because no one else writes about him and he's not that well known, but I find him very interesting and funny, so I definitely agree! I do try to think out of the box sometimes, so I'm glad you recognized that! :)

I loved this chapter too. You need some fluff every now and then. And I have my fingers crossed for the Kings tonight. So far, they're tied in the third period...
