Now that I've read it:
to 2. yea I do those wierd random semi-philisophical openers on all my stories haha, my new thing is I'm attempting an actual book, as author is my dream job just probably after some writing courses, and send it to some editors for like professional feedback, and anyway I tryed really hard not to give it one of those openers, but it didn't work out well so it's like halfway one xD
to 3, I think that everyone's damaged on some level and I kind of that for something to actually happen that needs to be a connection as well kind of?
and to 4, yes I despise fanfiction haha
I've written one... but it was for that videogame Kingdom Hearts and I can at least say I used the POV of an existing charachter instead of crudely insterting my own into the story line haha

I don't remember what I referenced... lol
and yea, I'm in a stalemate between Survivor and Invisible Monsters as my favorite book right now, I'd have to say Invisble Monsters though because I know I'm amping up Survivor more since I read it more recently haha

Well I can't stand Oprah, but Morgan Freeman and Samuel L. Jackson are the motherfucking shiz :D
But Morgan's coupe de grace(if I had the proper accents I'd use them) is his voice. It's like hearing a water buffalo's mating call! ...you know if your a water buffalo and in heat. xP

Well... I worship Morgan Freeman, so I'm a little bias :P
but hey, between that little boy and Tom Cruise or Arnold Govenator, Little boy hands down :D

Yea, he really killed it. I laughed, I cryed. that little boy made me FEEL! and I of course mean that as un-molestey as possible :P

Well, Dave Eggars is great, Ned Vizzini is a good "teenage material" writer, Augusten Burroughs is great nonfiction memoir-ey kinda stuff, DC Pierson, and Stephen Chbosky. Boom.
