I totally understand where you're coming from.
I remember reading the books and being like "damn, oliver wood gets hit in the head/knocked out a lot during these games. How lame is that?"
But very classy with the arm thing though. I hope she's okay!

If you read the Sookie Stackhouse series you'll find a ton more similarities and it was written WAY before Twilight. Sometimes I feel like Stephanie Meyer read all of these great vampire stories and then rewrote them to make the ending she wanted.

God if Lestat were real.... I would be ALL OVER that! lol.

    I know.
I think the last one came out when Vampires went underground again.... then Twilight happened, and I don't think they'll make them again in fear that all of the twitards will like them.... Then I'll have to find yet ANOTHER vampire writer to call my own. *sigh*

I know! Although I do wish they would have kept Armand blond....
Have you seen Queen of the Damned? Stuart Townsend did a fantastic job of playing Lestat. (Plus he's really hot, so PLUS!!!!!)

Oh my god! If Lestat were a real vampire, I would SOOOOO be all over him. Anne Rice and Bram Stoker are my two favorites. They're just amazing!

I think it's perfectly fine reading books for younger audiences. I still have books on my list from the "young adult" section of the book stores, and whenever I'm in there people are like "um.. are you lost? you're too old to be in this section."

Yeah, they're called "The Sookie Stackhouse Series" by Charlaine Harris.
The first one is called "Dead Until Dark".
They're all quick reads, and I think very enjoyable. Sookie can get a little annoying at times, but they're all very good. :D

You should try reading the books.
    They're equally as amazing. :D
I mean the story line is a little different after the first book/first series but they're still pretty spot on.

My theory is that the Cullens are just confused wood elves who think that just because they feed off of the blood of animals they are vampires.

I liked Cedric, he was a loyal person, and he tried to get his friends to stop wearing the "Potter Stinks" badges because he didn't think it was nice. I just think that the whole, Robert Pattinson went on to play Edward Cullen was a bad decision on Sumit's part. They KNEW the intensity these two franchises would make, they just encouraged it.

Yeah... but he and Ginny are related... distantly, but still. At least Cho wasn't his cousin. ha. But I will admit, I was tired of her crying all of the time. She needs to just suck it up and get over Cedric. We all did, she can too.

That was really the only relationship besides Harry and Ginny's that I had a problem with. I mean.... she REPLACED Fred with George.... sighs... but we can't do anything about it now. ha.

I hope she knows that George will never be able to replace his brother... no matter how identical they may look. (no offense George!)
