    Yeah, they shouldn't. But I think that having modesty is better than having an inflated ego. I find that when a writer has an ego the size of Jupiter makes me just want to stop reading their stuff, no matter how good it may be. I don't really know why, but it's a major turn off to a story for me.

    There are a lot of people that have a lot of talent but don't think that they could really get anywhere if they tried to do something with their writing. I know one of my friends is amazing, yet she doesn't think that she has what it takes to be a writer.
