Haha yes, it certainly is the thought that counts! I'd still like to be good at making cakes look amazing though, it's then one thing I really wish I could cook! Me and my friend tried to make gingerbread men once with roll out icing and colouring the icing was really hard! Like you had to put the food colouring in and then kneed it, but then it gets all sticky and horrible. My hand was dyed blue for days, no matter how much I washed it!

Wow, that is pretty soon! I can't believe it's almost June to be honest. This year has gone so fast. I'm going to University in September (hopefully, if I've passed my exams...) and it's only just over 100 days left! Which sounds like a lot but when you think we're like 150 days into the year already... D: So I'm sure you're trip home will come around very soon indeed! Where abouts are you travelling around?

Ooh wow, I love history! It's the only exam I've ever got an A on since I've been at college! :D What part of history are you studying / did you study? Haha oh god, I am exactly the same. If it's only a little bit then I don't mind. If I have loads of work to do I put it off because I don't want to start. So yeah, it doesn't make sense, but I understand it :P

How have all your exams gone then? How many left? :)

I just work in my local pub/restaurant type thing. It's actually a really nice place to work, if you ignore the sleazebags! Haha.

Haha omg, I am exactly the same. Like I looked at those cupcakes and thought, "That doesn't look so difficult," but there's no WAY I could do that! I made my friend some pikachu cupcakes for her birthday last year, which was fun. They didn't look too bad but then they didn't really look like pikachu either. More like a yellow blob with red cheeks... Haha!
Haha I certainly can imagine! Does that mean you'll be going home soon? What kind of exams have you got left to do? :3
I'm not too bad thanks! I actually finished at college last Wednesday, so I'm just working loads to save money for University :D

Ahh, sorry, I'm terrible at replying on here sometimes!
I'm exactly the same, I love baking cakes and I always have these visions but they never turn out how I want, haha!
How are you?

Oh, that's cool though. Is it your first time doing this exchange student thing? Do you feel like you already learned some of the things that they're teaching you here? Because some countries are way ahead of us in academics. :P Oh, I just finished reading your comment, you said you get straight A's here. I guess it is easier. xP

You adapted quickly here then. I spent a month in the Philippines over the summer and I was jetlagged so bad when I came back home. But they're off by like so many hours almost a day.

Haha some people write long, but at least it's correct and all, but some people don't and also they never indent or put spaces. So I get bored of reading it. :3

I'm hte same with French, I always know I'm saying the words wrong. I don't know, because I've always thought of Germany as a sunny place full of old-style buildings and great cities, (from a short holiday there three years ago) and I don't know if it's like that in real life. I've been to (hopefully I'll spell this right), Strasburg on the west border. My German teacher told me that, also with the Swiss they speak a slightly different version but it's mostly similar?

If you drive to Scotland sometime (thats what my fmaily do when we go to France or Germany but I don't know about you) when you hit the motorways is always a high point for me. The view from the window of the car is Scotland in it's prime. (:

woopsie! :p
I do, yeah. everyone talks about how German isn't the a popular language in Europe to speak, and how French would be more useful to learn but I think they're wrong; German is a kind of language that suits me and if I moved somewhere in my adult life I'd most likely move to Germany.
And I'd love to learn more: Russian, Dutch? Maybe things like Italian?
:L I can't stop occasionally thinking as I reply to you: I can't believe she lives in Germany! ~lame :3

Yeah, of course! Talking over the internet is never as good as in real life, I would be excited too if I were you! :)
Haha I'm sure you did fine! How did your cake turn out? :D

I guess it was kind of wrong then? I have German as class in Scotland and when I move I'll be taking it again. I have taken a crash course in French too, (je suis tres bien!) and I plan on learning more languages. We've mentioned Lake Constance before in class (south west? I can't quite remember). i can't speak french well, or write it too great but I'm good at reading it at least. with german I'm pretty good at reading, writing, speaking and listening. but I've never tried speaking to a native before so I probably muck up a lot. :L

Why are you living here for now? You'd still be in the 10th grade if you were living back in Germany? That sucks though, like a wasted year almost. :/ Is it tough here for you like the work? I have so many questions. Lol. Ah, yeah U.S. history is more of 11 grade stuff.

How was adjusting to time zones? Well, I don't know how different it is. That's how I feel a lot when I go visit other places. I'm just wanting to go back home even though I beg to leave.

I hate it so much! People make the spelling of the words look complicated. I know it's just the internet, but I get so annoyed with some bad grammar. Especially when some kids mispell words on purpose like can't = kan't. I'm like really?

I don't know how good that was, but it was fun to try :P Yeah. I'm moving soon and I'm quite happy about it. I love German though, it is such a brilliant language. (: Oh, und danke!

What grade are you in currently? History is pretty interesting. I don't like how I'm having to take Government/Econimics this year. I miss the history stuff. :/ I loved my U.S. History class last year. I learned so much and I laugh at all the history jokes now. Haha.

Texas is alright. I guess. I mean I get bored of it sometimes, but that's how almost everyone feels about their home state. :P The weather is just whack a lot and it's hot and humid in my city, but I love the other cities of Texas. I want to move, but for now this is my home and I'm familiar with it so I guess I would not mind staying here. Are you not originally from Georgia? I've never been there. I've never exactly been to the east coast for that matter.

Haha, well then you're not one of those grammatically challenged folks then. Lol. Some are like it's clearly not Glenn. I mean I would see that too if I was trying to say my name. xP

Correct. :) I have to do my 2 years of basic classes and then go into medical school. The hospitals I'm volunteering at this summer will help me out to see what it's like. While I do my 2 years of basic I'd like to try something else out like anything with music business or something.
When I was a kid I always thought that the medical field wasn't for me. I hope it is though because right now I want it to and it'd just be such a disappointment for me if I decide to drop it after I've come this far. I can't not like drop my volunteer spots now. :P & I've learned so much in my health classes that helped me to get the volunteer spots.

I live in Texas. :P That's where I am now. Probably will stay here for a long while too. Haha.

I getcha! If I broke down your name it'd be like may-ree? I don't know, Mary just to be safe. x) People always say my name like the guy name Glenn. It bothers me bc well I'm not a guy. :P Lol.
