I just like the general message of the story, how beauty is on the inside, not necessarily always on the outside. As to how I found it, I was just doing a general search (completed fantasy stories 5+ chapters) when I came across one of your other stories, "How They Lie", I finished reading it and was bored, so I looked to see what other stories you'd written. And, well, "Succu-busted" caught my eye. :)

Just because something feels good doesn't mean that it isn't doing you damage (for example, I once practically starved myself for two months and felt outwardly fine, despite the fact that I lost muscle and fitness without noticing, and had hideously low electrolytes). Your feelings aren't a great indicator of overall health, a bit like how people with hypothermia feel warm. Additionally, if you're doing something decisive, you're bound to feel more energetic and confident just because it was your choice, even if it was a poor choice, so that acts like a placebo. The mere fact that somebody did it for 30 days also doesn't make it wise. If your best argument is that another person persisted for that long without coming to actual illness, then you were always standing on unstable ground. There is a reason most educated people view these kinds of diets as radical and dangerous- they are.

I think your idea to see a doctor is a smart one. They will be able to tell you what's wrong with this, and will also be able to help you find better ways of reaching your goals, whatever they are. Generally, anytime you want to majorly change your diet, it is worth seeing a doctor anyway.

    Also,

"Our digestive system takes 2-3 hours to digest a piece of meat, but an ENTIRE meal full of a sweet fruits can be digested in 30 minutes at the most and it doesn't cause problems in our digestive system. Breads have gluten in it which could potentially be harmful for it, and our bodies turn grains into simple sugars (fruits) anyway."

The reason meat and whole grains take longer to digest is that they are protein rich and low-GI respectively. Fruit is by comparison very high-GI, as it is composed mostly of sugar. If you eat only high-GI foods, then your blood sugar spikes, and you wind up at risk of things like diabetes, as well as being hungrier all the time, and risking muscle wastage. You need to have a combination of foods that are absorbed slowly and quickly to avoid these problems.

Gluten is also not harmful for most people, and if you don't like it, you can eat gluten free grains like rice and corn.

Seriously, what you are saying is so worryingly flawed that I would strongly suggest you consult a nutritionist or an actual book rather than just online sources from people who are not accountable and may not even be reliable.

Talk to any nutritionist and they will tell you that that is rubbish. You can't compare humans to other apes for this purpose.

You need approximately 45g of protein per day (not 30% of your diet, I don't know where you're getting that from), which you won't find in fruit. You might get 5g a day tops from fruit, if you ate a shitload. Nuts are only slightly better, and the only naturally occurring source of fat for vegans, and even then, your diet will be lacking because you will also miss out on calcium, iron, various acids, other minerals and a bunch of other things if you are not eating meat, eggs or dairy, or, alternatively, if you are not eating adequate whole grains and combining legumes with fruits, nuts and other vegetables in ways that encourage your body to release the right enzymes for absorbing enough nutrient.

There is no nutritionist in the world who would encourage you to take up a vegan diet without being especially careful to do these food combinations, and there are none whatsoever who would encourage you to just live off mostly fruit. If you don't believe me, ask one.

I realise that you think this diet is healthy. I'm just telling you that it's really not. Citing something that you found on the internet will not change that.

That's pretty cool. For this diet do you have to ease yourself in to it or did you just dive in abruptly?
