You're the one who came to me I'm just responding logically. It's not my work so it doesn't affect me.

It's cool to get upset or what ever but you need to not take constructive criticism offensively. Number 2 is my bad and should have been worded differently but I still feel that part subtracted from the over all power in contrast to how effectively it could have been displayed with another use of description.

Number 1 was you being childish because you took offense, it doesn't matter how many reads you get if you made a mistake it's still a mistake and should be corrected. Especially as one who wishes to be published you should understand such things. You wouldn't expect a professional to accept a work filled with such errors so not every reader will either. It doesn't matter if this is a professional site or not. People come here to grow and expand others will comment on areas that people need to strengthen otherwise they won't know.

If you keep doing 2+2= 5 and no one tells you it's wrong then it's going to hurt you down the line. I still think it's a good concept to b writing on and therefore am still subscribed but it is still rough around the edges. If I didn't think you had potential then I wouldn't bother trying to help you improve and let you sit at your level accepting just another teen writer. But I see you as more.

I don't think it makes someone any more or less of a "serious" writer where ever they are. The site is more for attention seekers. But seeking attention doesn't make you more or less of anything.

A serious writer could write everything down in word pad and never show another soul till they died or till they show a publisher but that doesn't lessen the gravity of his/her works.

I checked it out. It seems more competitive than chillax but I might use it for a work if I have a lot of confidence in it. It's nice now I have 2 sites one for writing for myself and chillin the other to be competitive and produce for others. I haven't figured the odds and end of it yet but I will eventually. They don't have articles like a newspaper but thats ok I liked to read them more than write them.

Looks like I have 2 sites now so thanks =] But mibba is still my hang out spot theres too many great people here and daily rants lol.

Does it have an Article poems journal and forums section too? Or is it one that only focuses on the stories?

*shrugs* never heard of it I might check it might not depends on the mood. But yeah this site was actually created as a transfer site for green-day fan fics and then eventually got added too. Theres suppose to be another big site update again soon.

advice for starters a lot of people don't like the pre-made layouts for the site. The layout maker is on the my mibba page at the bottom you can also request others to make a lay out for you. Most mibbans are nice and the quickest way to get help is to go to journal section and ask. A lot of mibbans are grammar and spelling nazis so that can sometimes be hard to deal with. If you need any other help with formatting or joining contests hit me up. Till then I hope you become one of the good writers on here.
