Yeah, exactly! One of my stories was based off of a hollowness I felt at the time, but the characters felt it for different reasons than I did. And then there are just times when I want to write something crazy and off-the-wall, and so I do, haha.

I think there are certain elements of oneself in a story, but it doesn't have to be a direct reflection. I mean, sometimes it's just an extreme version of an emotion I've felt or something. But omg if my stories were 100% me... I'd be concerned. xD
