it's so bittersweet like in a kind of sick satisfaction way it's like "hey! now you know that was the wrong decision! stay this time!"
but it's so so sad because she's not a really strong person and to have pretty much her only joy taken from her it's really sad.
    but, it had to happen.

Hi! Thank you for your comment on Sparks Fly. I appreciate that you gave an actual piece of critical feedback. (I really do appreciate it - no sarcasm there.) Just for future reference, do you have any specific examples from past chapters so I can try and work on making it more believable in future chapters?

I didnt mean no feedback technically, but most of my comments are from comment swap where no one reads the story except the first chapter and they aren't even interested in alex gaskarth. I meant feedback from my actual readers who share my love for alex, like you! But thanks so much for the comment

Thank you for your comment. I just actually finished fixing it. That's the downside to updating from an IPhone - autocorrect sucks!

Thanks for reading though. And I hope I can keep you interested. :D

I thought I'd just throw in that little snippet of Alex/Piper for you guys. I'm trying to get through the fillers, but I want to keep them interesting, so I don't know. I'm glad you liked Jack's little outburst. He's my favorite character. Also, I'd like to thank you for braving through the car-sickness to read this. I get car-sick too, so I get it. It means a lot that you take the time to comment on every chapter, so thank you thank you.

You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it, and the next chapter should be up within the next few days. I think the roof is my favorite setting in the story (so far), and I'm glad you liked it! Also, I'm really stoked about the Embers. The plot's finally moving, ya know? But I don't know about how to go about writing their originals. I'm not much of a lyricist myself, sooo... I'll come up with something, though.

Seriously, there's so much foreshadowing I feel like I've spelled out everything that's going to happen later...but it excites me that I can pull off creating suspense and foreshadowing because that's hard as balls and it took me a lot of work.

All will be revealed in good time >:)

also you're awesome yep okay bye

HOLY SHIT. I read that other story, and, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I don't even understand how you've managed to classify us at the same level of talent. Her story is so good, it's scary. Hot damn. I'm flattered that you like my story enough to even compare it something as fantastic as that one.

And as for writing tips, umm, I'd say, the most important things, for me, are:
1)Develop your characters. Make sure you paint a clear picture for the readers. You want them to be able to see your character exactly as you do. Give them dimension. Make sure that you show the good and bad sides to every main character.
    2) Details, details, details. If you don't make detailed descriptions, of how the characters are feeling, why they're feeling that way, how a setting looks, or how a situation plays out, the readers won't be able to see the story exactly how you want them to.
    3) Do not be afraid to edit the living shit out of the chapter. Go over every line. Make sure everything is helping you move the story forward, and entertain your readers as much as possible. Always try to keep your readers on their toes.
    4) Use commas. In excess. This a rule that I tend to live by, although I don't really know if it abides by any grammatical rule. Alternate between short, choppy sentences that punctuate the say, humor, or drama that's taking place in the story, and long, seemingly-endless sentences to describe things in detail.
    5) Get creative! Don't be afraid to go outside the norm. Cliche'd comparisons shouldn't be something you use often in your story.

Anyways, that's basically my tips. If you need anything else, I'd love to help out.
