Haha no I totally agree. It was all for stage. I read somewhere Gerard saying that they stopped doing it when they realised people were getting into it in a totally different way.

That's so messed up. I mean I personally don't even think they were ever dating. It was all for show on stage. I mean if you like about it, you never saw them do that stuff off stage. And you can tell by the way that they talk about it that it was never really real. I think its kind of pathetic people believe in it that much cuz they think its hot. Especially if girls think it's "still " going on. I mean Gerard has Bandit and Lindsey and Frank has Lily Cherry Miles and Jamia. Why would they ruin their families for some fan girl fantasy? Sorry I went on a little rant there lol XD

I came across a few girls once that believed in all seriousness that Frerard was a real-life thing and that they were still seeing each other behind their wives' backs. I could have slapped them for wanting them to be such dishonest people just to keep their litte fantasy alive.

I'm so sick of MCR slash. It's all the same. I feel like its always Frerard, and I'm like "really? come up with something new :/" I just want to find a good story that pulls me in and that I don't want to stop reading until I've read every chapter that's there. I personally feel like slash stories don't do that. I think its more just a bunch of fan girls trying to achieve some fantasy of theirs.

It's almost impossible to find an MCR fic that isn't slash these days D: I don't mind it, but I just can't get into it :/

The really sad part is that out of all the creative writing sites I've checked out over the years, I don't like any of them as much as I love Mibba. It's a lose/lose situation. :/

Yeah, I quit comment swapping too. In fact, I'm still waiting for one of the comments. I gave up. I'd rather write for fun with no comments at all than be made to feel like I'm a shitty write just because someone else leaves shitty feedback. Mibba isn't what it used to be when I joined back in my junior year of high school (5 years ago). I thought maybe the updates and 'New Mibba' would bring new members that would comment but that doesn't seem to be the case. My stories used to get several comments per updated, and now, I'm lucky if I get one.

Lol "I don't always comment, but when I do, I comment-bomb." lmao

Maybe the kinks will get worked out in comment swap soon. Most of my comments sound half-assed, like they just typed a bunch of BS without even reading, while I type my comments in Word to make sure they're 200 characters of constructive criticism, that's what people want (or what I want) from comment swap and I'm not getting it.

You're welcome! :) I know what it's like to put your stuff out there and not get the feedback you're expecting. Almost all of my readers are silent readers, and I know how much I hate it, so I try not to be a silent reader. My friend and I are co-writing a BVB story and we've worked hard on it- from the banner, to struggling with a sex scene- everything. And we have one subscriber, and have gotten three comments, two of them from comment swap and they're both from the same person! It's crazy, and I hate it, because it makes us doubt ourselves, even though we know it's a good story. *shrug*

Ugh, I certainly don't want to be reminded of high school...although I kind of am sometimes, seeing as it seems to be normal for you to lose friends after you have a baby lol. Everyone else my age, whether they have kids or not, would rather party, and I'm not that kind of person. Guess most would call me boring, but I love my life now. My boyfriend is my best friend, and I also have my bff that I met here on Mibba 5 years ago, even though we live extremely far apart. She's been the only friend to stick around for me this long without using me for something or other. Wow, what a sob story lol.

Anywho, I'm definitely gonna check out your story, and I totally get what you mean about basing your characters off other people...I do it all the time, but I find that some of my best characters are created like that. And don't worry about the bad comments, any writer receives them at some point in their writing career, whether it's bad book reviews or bad comments from comment swap on Mibba. Just take what you can from them, and move on- I've considered quitting writing sometimes because of comments I felt I didn't deserve, mostly cause I'm just a tender-hearted person and always have been...but in the end, I felt giving up something I love to do would be defeat. So if there's anything to be used from the criticizing comments, take it, because it's free and may very well benefit you in the end.
