I think it was easier for me to make the choice because of the fact that not only have I been an animal lover my while life, but also because I'm so health-obsessed. When I looked at the facts and nutrition of milk, I quickly realized it's not as good for you as everyone is led to believe by the government.
We actually stop producing the chemicals to break down milk at age five.
Which is why a lot of people are lactose intolerant.
Also milk is high in saturated fat, and not a low-calorie food group, so for me being an obsessive health-nut that really turned me off milk.
It was hard at first, as everything usually is, but it really makes a difference physically and mentally.

yes! That's what I was going for in that chapter. Make it a little goofy and not too serious. Although it will have those moments sooner or later. :)

I'm strongly against consuming animal products, especially milk because I just don't think we were built to ingest it. I did it for the environment, myself and my health, and the animals :D

Haha. I love how you made that reference to analysing written work. Because, you know, we had to do that in every single g-forsaken English class back in high school. And then, when you get the chance to ask the poet what the poem is about, it ends up to be exactly what it says it is. A stupid poem about a stupid tree. Hahaha.

It's okay, I'm happy that you're honest, and I did make that aspect of it pretty obvious :)
But no, I wasn't planning to make Michael turn on her - I like his character, and I thought I would let him die with some pride :3 Trying to kill his own sister would just make him despised - as you said, it is a much better alternative to have him just die... I don't mind if you're relieved, it doesn't offend me or anything :D
