agreed. I wanted to make this story as realistic as possible, and if this was actually real life, it would take a hell of a long time for Vicky to get better!

but I love all the love Pat has been getting lately! <3 I actually just updated the story again, and this chapter also shows a soft, yet very reasonable, side of Kane that people never think that would exist.

I just wish he was my best friend :( haha

I definitely did not see this coming! But I really like it! Too many times I've read stories where Vicky would just be all tidy and fixed now. But she's obviously far from this. Well maybe not too far but she isn't just magically healed.

Thank you for the explanation!!!! I figured I wasn't piecing together the whole story!

Although Vero knew Maggie while she was dating Gavin, the relationship wasn't something that Maggie, Max, or their family put on display or liked to talk about- especially in front of other people. When Vero met Maggie they were on a roadtrip back home together with Marc and Max, and the subject of Gavin would have never come up.
