    When our first golden died, Annie, I didn't even know they were doing it. I just came home one day from school and found out they had put her down. I went nextdoor to my bestfriend's house and told him, and he started crying as well. We still have her ashes and collar.

    It's not the fact that he has cancer that really gets me, it's the fact the Tanner is going down the same path Annie did. I really wish there was a cure, but there's not much we can do. The only thing we can do is enjoy the time we have left with him.

    I'm sorry:'( Tanner is going to be the second Golden Retriever, second dog, lost to cancer. I wish there was a cure, I'm going to miss him so much when he dies.
