Thanks for the comment on the latest update of Slip! I know, twice in a week is basically unheard of at this point (though it makes me miss the good ol' days when that was actually fairly normal)! The next two weeks are hell weeks for me with multiple projects having major deadlines that all kind of compete with one another... so we'll see if that means I'm MIA for two weeks, or still cranking out updates to this, haha. For whatever reason, I seem to only get more and more inspiration for non-essential writing projects when I have actual firm deadlines for other things bearing down on me. Blessing and a curse, I guess?

Anyway, I think you speak for everyone when you say Matt's finally making them do what we've all wanted (or is he? guess we don't yet know if his meddling worked...). But yeah, I was about at head-bashing time myself, and apparently Matt had just about reached his limit. Gotta love him for it, haha.

Hopefully I won't keep you waiting too long for the next one! Thanks again for taking the time to comment! <3

Hahahahaha, right?! We're all old and tired of this nonsense; those two need to get their heads on straight and act like the adults we all are, now. Side note, though: really glad I never tried to bring Arin into the story or anything, back when it was looking like he was going to be around for the long haul. That would probably have only made it all the more difficult to come back to this after so long.

Ooh, high bar, that one! I'll certainly try my best to make sure none of the future updates let you guys down! Though then again, if they ever do, please just tell it to me straight and I will 110% take that shit down and re-do it. At this point this thing is like my life's work and I'll happily edit the hell out of things if it means making sure it's done right in the end.

Oh god I didn't want to check how many years ago What We Left Unsaid started so I didn't feel old! Geez, we were all in very different places in life! I get what you say about the "back-and-forthing" of Ava and Matt, how much is enough? I trust you'll make all the right choices and that the story won't be rush, you are an amazing writer and the finale will be GRAND! I hope Ava and Zack can SIT and TALK things through, for Christ's sake, WE ARE ALL GROWN UPS NOW! Anyways, thanks for taking your time to reply and for never letting us readers down!

Hello again, love! It's been a while (my fault, I know!)! I just wanted to swing by and thank you for once again commenting on the latest chapter of Slip. And for commenting on the chapter before that, too! Your comments give me life, and keep me motivated to keep coming back to this monster of a story!

Small world that you were thinking of it just before I updated -- funny how things like that play out.

Ugh, man, I hear you! I was... holy crap, I was four days from turning 18 when I posted the first chapter of What We Left Unsaid (I just checked), and boy does it feel like a lifetime ago. It was definitely easier to write bandfiction then... I think so many of us have just outgrown it at this point, unfortunately. But I'm glad you're also still drawn in by the story and the paranormal world of Slip/What We Left Unsaid, though! I also am, and adore my fragile little broken babies so much. I have no intention of leaving this story unfinished, I want to promise you that, but I just can't know how long it'll take to actually bring us to the resolution. I know where this is eventually going, and I want us to get there so bad... but I also don't want to rush it, don't want to give this story any less of an ending than it deserves. It's got me wavering on the direction of the next chapter, because I don't want to rush things, but I also don't know that Matt -- or, hell, even Ava at this point -- can take much more of the trust-me-or-don't-trust-me back and forth. Hmm. Decisions, decisions.

And I'm glad the multiple updates have been helping you! I feel you! I know Zacky has now decided he doesn't want her to remember a damned thing, and I'm sure it'd be easier for them in a lot of ways if she didn't. I don't know where I stand on it, personally. /shrug.

Lovey-dovey Zacky and Ava are definitely adorable, though! And we'll see what happens on the werewolf front; she can't be a human forever, after all! Or, well, at least they can't all play human forever.

Well, that's very sweet of you to say! I meant for you to lower your expectations of my update speed, because I knew I was going to disappear for two weeks, but I'm sure you've figured that out in my absence.

And I don't think you're alone on the whole hating-Mabel thing. Most seem to agree, despite the fact that it seemed like she was just trying to protect Ava. Zacky definitely agrees with you, though.

Haha, I'm glad that you're happy to see that Ava's back! You're right, of course, that writers shouldn't always try to please the readers and whatnot, but I can honestly say that this wasn't me changing my mind to please all of you. I mean, again, I'm glad you're happy to have her back in the story, but this was the plan all along. No one was looking at the surveillance monitor the second that the explosion went off; there was always a chance she hadn't been in the room. And, they didn't bury her body (not that you were able to know that, of course,) because explosions do not usually result in leftover bodies, so there was technically never any proof that she was dead.

Anyways, I am very glad that you're thrilled about the little twist rather than thinking it was a cop-out or something. I was debating scrapping the entire plot for this story and redoing it with her no longer alive, because I was worried bringing her back would be a little too... unbelievable and cliché. Glad to hear I made the right decision not to revamp things. xD

And I know, the part where Zacky was touching the mating mark was super emotional -- it's probably my favorite part of that chapter.

I know Zack's miserable, and I'm so sorry that it had to be that way! Well, kind of, because if he was perfectly fine and chipper after what happened, then I'd probably hate him... But I know it's hard to see him that miserable, and I'm sorry. Bring Ava back? I can't promise that, love; I can't even tell you if that's possible. I know how much everyone wants her back in the story, but I'm not going to change the story's plot just to make everyone happy, you know? If she's meant to play an actual live role in the story, then she will. That's all I'll say on the matter.

I'm glad you can understand Brian's reactions, though! I was worried most people would hate Bri, even though his actions are pretty understandable in my opinion. But you're right, Zack clearly needs someone's support. Maybe he'll find it while he's away or when he gets back?

I'm glad to hear the last chapter relieved you a bit; I know how hard it must've been to actually think that things had gone down the way Zacky claimed they had. Oh, it was so hard for me to keep my mouth shut without pointing out that he could've been mistaken! I'm glad that whole secret's finally out. (:

The last chapter will be up soon, followed by a little epilogue, and then, eventually the sequel--Slip. The sequel might take a little while for me to start writing, though, because I want to have some more of it planned out and worked on before I commit to regular updates, you know? Hopefully not long, though!

Omg! Yay then! I actually really super dooper admire Che Guevara and asked to get a parrot of the same name. But my husband refuses. But only because he doesn't like birds. I’m actually working on an original fiction right now where the male lead is from Argentina. So yay! :D
