Thanks for the comment! Hah yes it is supposed to be confusing! I used to have a habit of giving everything away all at once and I want to stop doing that!
I would love to answer your question about why Edward can't sense her, but that'd ruin my plan for the story so you'll just have to wait and see! :P thanks so much for the comments!
Thanks bunches for the comment on Last Night on Earth :D I hadn't seen one like it, so figured fuck it all and wrote myself Billierard. And I will fix the text, asap. :3
Awhh thank you, glad you liked it! And I'm so glad you found it realistic enough xD no they weren't in the common room, I said quite near the beginning that Harry asks her to go for a walk with him and leads her to a 'deserted classroom' somewhere with 'silenco' charms on it... sorry if that wasn't made clear! And thanks for pointing out the spelling mistakes, I'll go and correct them when I get chance!
I also read your new chapter too, and enjoyed it so much! Hermione's relationship with her parents is the sweetest thing, and your whole concept is entirely believable! Love it :D <3
asdfghjkl thank you so much! :3 I should be updating Monday when I get home from Scotland :P You could be right about Nyx and Dean...but you could just as easily be wrong ;)
Don't forget that before she meets Ron on the train, she's supposed to have practiced some spells already. That could be a pretty funny sight to describe. xD
I love the first chapter. I can't wait to read more :)
While you can't write about Hermione's relationship with Ginny for the first book, you can definitely show her relationship with Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil. Just like Harry connected with his roommates, you can have a fun time of connecting Hermione with hers.
I know it'll be harder to write from Ron's perspective, but I'm sure you can do it. Remember it's not just Harry he's jealous of. He was also very jealous of Hermione and of his brothers - Fred and George for being popular, Percy for being a perfect student. Like I said, you can really work the family dynamic. If I were you, I'd also introduce the things that they saved Harry with in their search for the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone. Show Ron playing Wizard's Chess and show Hermione searching for Nicholas Flamel. Or her writing an essay for Herbology where they cover Devils Snare.
One other thought for Ron's perspective would be to bring up how he dealt with being around Draco Malfoy. We see in the second book the rivalry between the Malfoys and the Weasleys, but we only really see it from Harry's perspective, where he's perplexed by the mutual hatred. It might be interesting to see Ron talking with his other family members - Arthur, Percy, Fred, or George - about the Malfoy family and maybe even Draco himself. It'd be cool to really find out about that family rivalry.
I'll be sure to check out your first chapter when I get home and can look it over. I'm so glad you're pursuing this ^_^
