Sorry if I went a bit overkill on the answer, I just wanted to make sure you understood it :P

No, its about the hardships of being that gender in general. The prompts like this to help broaden your perspective :P
So if I were to write, I would write from a girls perspective. This could be about the feeling men put out on them being inferior, or an insulting/humorous poem about the difficulties of sandwich making, or about the difficulty of a woman's emotions or menstrual cycle, etc.
Since you have to do it from a guys perspective you have to find out what is difficult about being a guy and write about it. It could be about the difficulties of being a father, the person who has to have a job and be the head of the household, about their having to be gentlemanly to ladies, etc.

Well don't be. Or at least try not to be :P
It was a good poem and it's just a contest anyways. Plus you've got a few more weeks to work your way back on top :)

And just, fyi, I really liked that poem, despite what I scored it ^.^

Next time, if I haven't marked them yet, don't hesitate to give me another poem okay? It's not a hassle at all.
