My teacher that I get starting tomorrow wrote the movie "Stargate" and didn't get credit for it so he sued the people that made it and he got like a BUNCH of money. He's not legally allowed to say how much he got though. Also his father performed one of the first heart surgeries. He was my dad's favorite teacher when he went to my school.

I'm not sure, but if you look him up there may be something on google about him. His name is Omar Zuhdi.

Me and my friends joked around, saying it was the body of a dead native that had been slain by the mighty wale god.

Then my friend Eli asked, "Then why is he wearing a suit and dress shoes?"

To which my friend Caity answered, "THEY WERE A VERY ADVANCED CIVILIZATION AND HE WAS THE LAST OF HIS KIND."

Mythology was a part of my Latin class so I guess your Latin I class will be more about the vocabulary, grammar, etc and mythology will be about exactly what it suggests lol. I really enjoy the language

I didn't think it was hard, but I felt like I had an aptitude for it. Learning Latin came naturally to me. Other students in my class struggled or simply didn't do their work. If you do your work and actually try and study you'll be fine. We integrated the actual language as well as myths and Roman history/culture into the class so if you're not so good at the mechanics of the language the cultural elements will help you if your teacher does them. I thought it was easy but most people say it's difficult

And I'm glad I'm not the only one!

We have that too, except normally at the last minute they find something that works out. We have two semesters, though; first semester I have 4 classes, and then second semester it switches and I have 4 completely new classes, different lunch shifts for both. That's probably why the schedules are so easy to change, lol.

Ahhh. That sucks that it didn't work out because of band practice. I'm sorry.

And, did you go from Algebra 1 to Algebra 2? And, that's cool! (: It's always nice to get the classes you want.
