It's a horror story about a girl who has a cursed mirror that shows people their dark, evil side instead of just their reflection, and it's capable of hurting other people if the person who owns it gets angry or really jealous. And the other sorts of nasty emotions we feel that we don't like to think about. I figured it's a twist on classic horror. afte all, what could be scarier than facing your own inner demon? It's not like a killer you can just kill or get away from.

Well, I stayed home from school because I wasn't feeling well. I went back to sleep and crashed for about 5 hours. Lol. But I feel better now, and I'm doing research for an English project, and working on the centerpiece for said project. *wipes brow* It's tough work. i'm doing a short story, and believe you me, it's harder than it sounds.

Oh, no that made sense. Lol. I'm pretty much the same way. I was raised Mormon, like I said, but now that I'm older I kind of prefer to not be bound to any one religious sect, because I want to be able to believe things the way I want to believe them. When you get a bunch of other people involved, they can kind of cloud things up, you know?

Like, I hate how a lot of Christian branches say that everyinthing is predestined but we have free will. I think that could be made a lot clearer. The way I see it is we have free will; we can make whatever choices we want, but that the outcomes of each choice are pretty much determined from the time we make that choice. Ther are different paths, and they lead to differen places, but once you're on that path, the consequences or outcome of that choice are pretty much inevitable.

If that made any sense. Lol. And yeah, I hate typos too. =) I make them a lot though because I type really fast.

It wasn't only the disciples who wrote the Bible. It was written by a lot of differnt people at different times. And besides, it was still wrtten by men, and men get arrogant and men make mistakes and men hate. Plus, the Bible has been translated from a language that was used a very very long time ago. How do you know that some things were not misinterpreted or incorrectly translated? You don't. Furthermore, didn't one of Jesus' disciples betray him? Haveyou been taught that? How do you know if when the Bible was written that some of said writers didn't misconstue certain things? You cannot blindly believe everything you read, even in the Bible. If you were a true believer, you'd actually pray for answers, not foolishly just take someoen else's word for truth, yes? So don't act condescending towards the other people who left comments on that journal. That kind of thing is what makes other people not like Christians, and think they're arrogant and patronizing. So really, cut the holier-than-thou routine, please. You're going to give believers of god everywhere a bad rep.

    Sorry..

Didn't mean to offend anyone. But.. If something that was obviously meant to be funny offended you.. Then you take your religion to seriously.

I used to be Christian, and I woulda found this funny even then.
And I was a Jesus Crispy back in those days.

^In response to my journal about Christianity.
