Hello, since you've entered my contest, I give you the first prompt :). Sorry about the tardiness and I promise it will not happen again.

Your story this week should ideally take us on an adventure in the span of the time between sunset and the break of dawn. One catch, these events must strictly take place over the course of a single night and the word 'Rome' must appear at least once.
1,000-10,000 words please. But remember, entries will not be evaluated on quanity, but rather, quality.
Use your unique writing style, apply your own special twist, and please the judges... And you might just reign supreme this week... and most possibly over all!
Entries will be due Saturday, April 27 at 12:00 PM EST.
There will be no eliminations this week-- but a good start does not hurt.
The childhood taunt "It takes one to know one" has annoyed us all at varying points in our lives. This week, attempt to encompass that saying without actually saying it.
Your entries are due on Saturday, any time. And to update the rules a little bit: this week, if you don't enter an entry, it is an immediate elimination.
