Uhm, I don't know.... I have personal tips for myself. Like, I would say don't get too much into details while coming up with the plotlines. It may seem stupid, but it'd true. If I go too much into detail with a plotline, I get writers block. I would also say, write about what you want to write about, not what you think everyone else would like. I mean, don't completely neglect your readers, but a story should satisfy you as much as it satisfies its readers.
