Hey!

Yes, I still have master plans for Parasite Moon. It's just on hiatus because I realized that in a few chapters, it would be a huge SPOILER for my other story, Frozen Phoenix. (-fyi-That one takes place before PM, Zavius' POV.)

I'm trying hard to get them out asap. Thanks for asking about this! It makes me work harder so I do appreciate it! =)

Kind of like Internet friends. Lol. :3
Oh, that's sad. The thing is, he did get me. But that was because I'm a nice girl myself. It was total turn-offy awkwardness for five months before I got the nerve to say we should go back to being friends. I'm totally pathetic when it comes to this stuff. I don't know if I was that afraid of hurting him, or if I needed him to give worth to my self-image, or if I wanted to flaunt him as proof that I wasn't so much a loser that I couldn't get asked out, or what. Jesus. Sorry I'm unloading all this relationshippy grossness onto you. But yeah.

Pen pals are pretty spiffy. Very vintage, in a way. I read a book about a girl with a penpal in 6th grade and I was so impressionable that I made up an imaginary penpal for myself. I had a lot to say to her. It's funny, because just a little bit ago, I wrote two more letters to her after like 4 years telling her about all that's happened. :p

God, that's exactly how it feels. I'm finally resuscitating some stories I started last summer and didn't update on since, so that should be a bang. Like, hopefully it's not going to trickle on for five summers.

Weelll, it's not terribly far-fetched, just nerdy as hell. I assigned each pro and con a numerical value based on how important it was, then added up all the numbers for each side. And then I plotted the frequency of each value, to see if the pros or cons had more important reasons vs. petty reasons. It didn't really help, though. I was just desperate and in a total tizzy over getting asked out by a guy who's really nice but that I didn't have feelings for. I know, relationships are icky.

No, I don't believe I have. I have heard of a site called 10,000 Awesome Things, though, or something along those lines. I don't think you should assign a number to happiness. It's almost like, once you reach that number nothing can make you happy anymore. :/ Or maybe it's like trying to explain love with math (which I have attempted a variety of before, I felt _____ afterward.) Oh well. Probably just me with that opinion.

I wouldn't know much about volume control on a keyboard vs. a piano. Seeing as it's been years since the last time I touched a piano. :/

Wow, that is even more anal than my mom. She used to say things like that but she never actually put in on a chart or anything. I think she's given up on me now, seeing as how every time I practice now (few and far between times, sadly) I seem to be getting progressively worse. It's sad, because I used to love playing the flute. I started in 5th grade because we had to do either Band or Orchestra at our school, and I was in Band all through middle school and I was all enthusiatic about it. I would have done it in high school, but if you did you had to be in marching band too, and that was too big of a commitment for me. I don't know where all my enthusiasm's gone. :/

Sorry it took so long to reply, by the way. School's been kind of crazy, but I'm glad I'm on break now.

Check out www.weheartit.com, it's great. :)
I also use a lot of livejournal icon communities, and if you click on the link on my profile that says 'phantom calliope', you'll be taken to my own icon community where I post icons I've made.
Hope that helps!

I bet mine could give her a run for her money! He realized today that the only way he could get us to be quiet for a whole half hour is to soak his hand in alcohol and set it on fire! It was pretty awesome!

Yeah, but if there's a silence in the conversation after that, I'll just go ahead and say it, to hell with being late. I'd rather be called 'the girl that always says shit after the moment for it is over' than 'the quiet one'. At least it would be a change, know what I'm saying? I'm sick of being called quiet, even if it's true.

It is pretty intimidating. I learned that you literally put it in your mouth, rather than putting your mouth to it. (That's what she said.) And the site I was at was all like, 'We recommend licking it before playing, so it slides easier'. (Again, what she said.) And I was thinking, do I really want to put this in my mouth, seeing as how it's been sitting around in its box for years and no one knows if it's accumulated some weird crap? (What she said?) Which is partly why I still haven't gotten the hang of playing individual notes (one hole = one note) and can only play random chords I don't even know the names of.

But seeing as how the previous paragraph was so laden with innuendo, I might really wanna learn it now. It's just so suggestive. And like I've probably said before, nobody I know can play the harmonica. Or cares for it. Which = no competition = no pressure.

I totally know what you mean about not being rich. When I still played the flute and it became cheaper to just buy one of them instead of renting, it was a big deal for my mom money-wise, even though they're relatively not very expensive. Despite that I quit Band after middle school, I still get forced to practice, because she intends to get her money's worth from buying the instrument.

I wish I had any type of piano, because a lot of notes sound weird and overly electronic on a keyboard. But the main thing I wouldn't like is having to tune it. That just seems like a major pain. However, I too am optimistic about one day owning a grand (or a baby grand, since grand pianos intimidate me a bit). I'll have to get a lot better at playing meanwhile, though.

Dude. That's seriously cool of you to reply to that comment from a long-ass time ago. Most people would realize it but wouldn't reply for whatever reason, probably because the 'moment' is over. Well, fuck the moment, cancer kills you, being courteous does not. Lol. I just felt like being mad all of a sudden.

But yeah. Geez, you make me feel so musically pathetic. I don't even play the piano, just the keyboard, because it's what my parents could afford to buy. I used to play the flute, and I own a harmonica but I don't know how to play it. I should learn, though. No one I know knows how to play the harmonica. =o

Lawlz, stalker! Just kiddingg. But yeah. Thanks. I didn't think anyone would really care either way, especially since it's the Internet and the Internet lacks the immediacy and personal aspect of face-to-face communication. The Internet seems to make a lot of things frigid and petty; like for example, if someone asked you, "How are you today?" and you said, "Not so good", they would probably say, "Oh, what's wrong?" and be able to feel a genuine and immediate concern for you since you are right in front of them. But if you blogged about it, most people who read what you wrote would probably be like, "Meh. I don't even know this person. I have my own world and my own problems to deal with." You know what I'm saying?
