Just take everything with a grain of salt, it's super easy for incorrect information to get out and spread really fast. The wonders of the internet!

Yeah, lawmakers wanted to pass this law saying you couldn't abort a fetus after 20 weeks, and it was generally unfair and really hurtful to planned parenthood (I think it was Texas who was attempting to get rid of it in the first place, though that might have been Arizona). A politician named Wendy Davis was basically like lol no and staged a filibuster and she talked for like, thirteen hours, all about abortion.

Before I fell asleep last night the lawmakers had gone and voted on the bill anyway even though it was past midnight because they want to destroy all happiness ((and we had started voting at 11:59!!)), but then this morning they conceded that it was really after midnight, so Wendy Davis won.
