I've heard it.
But I have a super low body temperature, so whenever I am cold for more than a few hours I get sick.
Seriously, a fever for me is 98 degrees.
It's weird.
But yeah
Do you get sick a lot?
i think it's because they're two totally different things.
smoking isn't something that's generally considered "shameful"
whereas, being fat, the person knows they're fat. and being told that, it can create a whole myriad of problems. it's kind of taboo. and while you want to say "hey you're fat, this is detrimental to your health" you can't because that is most definitely going to be taken as offensive. i personally believe that there's no way around it. but you know most people who say things like that are saying it for the sake of being rude (as is my personal experience, seeing others say it).
whereas you'll probably just piss someone off if you tell them to stop smoking.
but idk. i may be wrong, but i'm in incredibly self conscious about my body and i'm pretty average and if someone even so much as insinuated i was fat, that'd be a lot of damage.
and i've just written you a story. sorry, i have a problem with getting straight to the point.
I know.
It's no problem. I just went down to the laundry room and made ramen so I'm good.
