Even though it was at a hotel, as her best friend, I'm surprised that you weren't invited :/ Maybe somethings going on with her? She might be bothered by something about the friendship but you might have no idea what it is. A similar thing happened to me last year with my best female friend who I've been best friends with since 1st grade. I had no idea what was wrong but she started ignoring my phone calls and then told me we should "take a break on our friendship" I was with my ex who I still love at the time and I talked to him about it and I was really upset. We smoothed things over that night, but maybe you should ask her if something is wrong. She might say no, but something could be off. Hopefully your week improves

Well, sometimes parents don't like the things we do with our hair. I've gotten cuts that I've loved and was happy with but my mom didn't particularly like, but she couldn't really do anything about it because it was my hair. Maybe she'll come around and start to like it :)
