This is very true; I will concede that point. (Heehee, I love using words like concede and confusing the stupid people. :3)

It's hard to feel bad for someone when they set themselves up for failure...then you imagine them living in a van down by the river and THEEEERRREEEE'SSS the pity.

The ones that brag about failing in an epic fashion are just...sad. It's like "*eye twitch* Why are you proud of being a fricken moron...?"

And if it's something you just couldn't force yourself to learn, I can understand. It's those people that don't even bother to TRY that really peeve me off.

Except for a simple lack of desire to learn...which irritates me almost as much as outright ignorance, honestly.

I view ignorance as the worst possible thing a civilized society can allow. If we have the opportunity and materials with which to educate ourselves, then why shouldn't we?

That's probably the best way to handle conversion...especially if it's a religion primarily based in another country. :)

I like doing research on the religions, and (if they have them) reading the legends associated; I just have issues with commiting. Especially with the various sects of Christianity. It's too much for my little Arye brain to wrap itself around... -.-0

:) Meeting new people 'tis fun! And I admire the fact that you're converting to Shintoism. I'm fascinated by the religion but (as with most religions) can't make myself convert.

Haha, and that's why I commented!
I mean, Emily is a very common name, and "Ray" of any spelling isn't. So that's just very weird haha but cool. xD
