It's hard to feel bad for someone when they set themselves up for failure...then you imagine them living in a van down by the river and THEEEERRREEEE'SSS the pity.
And if it's something you just couldn't force yourself to learn, I can understand. It's those people that don't even bother to TRY that really peeve me off.
I view ignorance as the worst possible thing a civilized society can allow. If we have the opportunity and materials with which to educate ourselves, then why shouldn't we?
I like doing research on the religions, and (if they have them) reading the legends associated; I just have issues with commiting. Especially with the various sects of Christianity. It's too much for my little Arye brain to wrap itself around... -.-0
:) Meeting new people 'tis fun! And I admire the fact that you're converting to Shintoism. I'm fascinated by the religion but (as with most religions) can't make myself convert.
