Haha well my favorite band is AFI. Close second is blessthefall. I also like Black Veil Brides, Bullet for My Valentine, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Ludo, and way more. Haha. And thanks. Honestly, I wasn't happy with the story. I was always half asleep when I was writing and I looked back over it and I was disappointed with it. Maybe I'll give it another go later on but I'm working on a story to go with an Avery Watt's song. :)

I had the same problem. Sometimes it's hard to express yourself because your afraid of what others will think or you just can't put it into words. The best advice is don't hold back, and write to please YOU, not other people. Keep a notebook to keep track of all your feelings and ideas so when you sit down to write, you have a reference to look off of. Also, write all your dreams, because a dream is nothing more than a logical way of looking at your emotions. Maybe your dreams will give you ideas, but if you don't write them down, they are easily forgotten. Lastly just be yourself and have fun, no since in writing if you don't enjoy it. Hope this helped!
