Thank you for giving me such a detailed analysis of my poem, i'm glad you took the time to personally read and understand the metaphors and imagery.
Exactly how you described your impression of Incomplete is what I was hoping to give.
The focal point of the poem was indeed the ocean and how people flock to the water for perseverance and internal reassurance. The idea of a young woman on the beach in sorrow of the love she is letting go of is something I'm familiar with. How she is looking for the forgiveness she must give to herself, and coming to terms that this is what happens when a strained relationship slips away is just a drawn out way of coping with a break up. Therefore, there is a story within. I'm happy you favored this one, I didn't have 100 percent confidence in it haha. I always underestimate myself.
There was no definite meaning, just the explanation of what was on my mind and what I'm sure many other people my age feel, only I captured it through metaphors :) Once again thank you, I appreciate the feed back
