Thanks for the comment and the compliment on my writing! This was one of my favorite scenes that I wrote. Well to be honest, I like a lot of scenes, but this was a very fun one. I hope the snail's pace their relationships seems to be progressing doesn't bore anyone!

Giroux is awesome! I've read so many G stories recently and after watching him be amazing in the playoffs, the only thing to do with the crazy thoughts swirling around in my head about him was to write a story. The bath scene was probably my own personal fantasy after seeing him in those casts:) You just know that some girl was there taking care of him after his surgery, lucky girl.

I sometimes wonder if I write too many details and put in unnecessary stuff. I read other peoples stories and I really enjoy a lot of them that happen to not have that much detail but still convey emotion. For example, Frenchie by Hockey Bliss which is about Giroux (have you read it?) I love how she writes. I was struggling a bit trying to make my writing convey the emotion and not be too wordy or boring. So I'm really really happy that you commented on that and I hope I found the right mix.
