No, MTG is basically a card game.
Or perhaps even a trading card game.
You play a planeswalker, which is pretty much a Wizard.

So anyway, you play the game by first either building a deck or getting an already assembled one. There are five colors; white, blue, green, black and red. In those colors there are Creatures, Spells, Enchantments and Mana. There are also colorless cards which could be anything from spells to artifacts. (mines a blue and black deck focused mainly on regenerating creatures, creatures with fear and such) So, after you have a deck constructed you have to find some players and then it's played like any other trading card game. You have a library, a graveyard(for creatures that are defeated), hand cards and your playing field. You try to pick up enough mana (land cards) to summon your creatures, and then strategically attack your opponents with your summoned creatures and spells.
You have a 20 sided die, which is your life points. and you can block with your creatures, but if the creature attacking has "trample" and a very large attack that your creatures can't defend all the remaining attack points hit your life points.

It's quite the addictive game, and if you want you can really get into the story line. But I don't, I prefer to just find strategies that will help win the game.

lol, I cannot believe I have never told you about that game!!
There are a lot of rules, variants and different things.. but basically after the first game you tend to get the hang of it. lol

I'll be sure to check the website out.

I watched Donnie Darko, as well as S. Darko.
I liked them, they were crazy.

My weeks been... boring at the most.
Except I did manage to find someone who was interested in playing Magic.
Have I ever told you of MTG? (Magic: The Gathering)

I shall now check out the website.

    liebe,
    Frank.

I received your letter yesterday, along with a little heart and a piece of New York dirt. lol
I read it on the bus ride home.
Though, seeing someone cry on a bus is not a regular occasion, many people stared.
    I didn't care, though. And I still don't.
It was a very beautiful letter, and I'll be sending one back soon.

    Ich lieb dich,
    Frankie.

Wow, you commented -lightning quick-. lol I'm at the roleplay forum now. ^_^ I remember when I tried making one with my friends. o_o It sucked. It also bombed. xD because everyone else was too lazy to keep coming back to post.
I'm actually not doing so well right now, but I can never stop writing so now is as good a time as any to RP. ^_^

Hellooo, not so much stranger but rather akin wanderer of this site.
    Hehe.
I'm Mika! I've been keeping track of the Role Play forum (even though it's died, sadly enough), and I saw your comment, and curiosity won over as it usually does.
You rp, you say? :P I always try to find new people to rp with, because it's always so much more interesting when you have no idea what they are like, because it makes the rp that much more real.
So, er... talk to me? This insane girl is quite a writer, it seems, and she would very much like you to respond.

All is alright, you need not apologize for simply stating your mind.
Though, I must apologize for not coming on any more frequent then I was.
Surely you deserve an explanation, which is, unfortunately, the same as last time.
It's nothing to worry about, though.
Just some tests, simply routine check ups.
It's just a drain on my energy to get pricked with needles so many times. lol

I shall try to come online more often.

    Ich liebe dich,
    Frankster.

I can imagine it. It would be so cool.
Then we'll make our zombie busting academy. :D
Then you be the greatest mom ever.

Oh, that's one of my reasons too. I never liked Math because my teachers never consider that there are some students who are having problems with the subject. But, I'm used to it. And I'm having difficulties.
    ._.
I loved my English Teacher too, she's cool and has a good sense of humor.

    It's okay mom, it's not a curse... it's a gift. lol

    yah yah. xD

I don't know any courses that involves busting zombies, sadly.
Or, I can train myself and become one. xD
But mom, it's not too late, yet.
You would be a zombie buster and writer at the same time.
    :D

    I feel your pain mom.
I have my Math and English Review class everyday, so it seems like I still have classes, however we have it half day.
I took it because of my poor Math skills. :/

How come? Is it really hard?
