Hiiiiiiiii! Welcome back :)

I missed chatting with you as well. I just read the chapter. I wanted to see their reunion straight away but I reckon it was the perfect time to finish it. I'm so glad you didn't delay it. I thought it might take longer for them to see each other. I can't wait to see what happens. I want them to be together so badly. I know it has to take some time. Both were so damaged by everything, but hopefully it happens eventually.

Anyway, I'll stop my ramblings now. Again, super happy you're back! :)

PS: You chose the perfect place for them to meet again. It's "their" place. Update soooooooon!

I understand what you mean with the awkwardness of starting a new story! It's bound to start slow, I guess. The important thing is that you enjoy writing it and have some major ideas. You know what to do :) I was just thinking that one of my favorite things about Be Your Sky was that they had no contact whatsoever with each other. Both were too damaged. They needed some time away from each other to figure out their own lives and get back on track.

I don't really buy Jon not being "madly in love" with her anymore, but I kinda get it at the same time. He's protecting himself. He doesn't know if he'll ever see Vicky again. As much as you love someone, you can't hang on to something that might never happen. He made himself believe it was over. I thought the "Most of the time" song was spot on. If I were him, given how broken both were by the end of it, I'd probably do the same...try to move on with my life. Also, it's always the little things that trick your brain into thinking about someone. A phrase, a routine, a movie, etc. You wrote it very well, imo. As usual, I might add.

As for Vicky, I'm so glad she got the help she needed. Depression is obviously a very serious issue and it won't go away in three months, but avoiding Chicago like the plague won't either. I think it might be cathartic for her in a way. Regardless of how things go with Jon, she liked that place. It's also important to be close to her friends, Lex and Pat. Even if they're both connected to Jon in a way, they're first and foremost her support system. People can't avoid what hurt them forever, it will come back to haunt them.

All that being said, I cannot wait until they see each other. I'm so curious to see how you'll write that scene. If it's going to be completely random, at a team event, in a new place or somewhere important to both. Super stoked. Hope you can update regularly.

I am dead serious. :) Absolutely adore that song. The lyrics are so profound. It really was the perfect fit for their relationship. I've been listening to it on loop while reading the entire story!

I'd like to say take your time, but I'm really curious where you'll stop the story. If it's a proper ending or a cliffhanger. :)

I kid you not, "Boats and Birds" is one of my favorite songs of all time. So happy you chose it.
I think it fits Jonny and Vicky so so so well. I can't wait for the Epilogue and the sequel, obviously.

Oh, you're more than welcome! It breaks my heart to see Vicky so fragile. Lex/Pat are the best friends she could have asked for. I can't wait for the next chapter (you said it was already read...post it soon xD) and the sequel. Time for everyone to start healing. :)

Loved this update and it doesn't surprise me at all that Vicky hurt herself. Deep down she blames herself for this and until she forgives herself... she won't get any better. The brain is a tricky organ. I can't wait for the next chapters. People better comment...and a lot, so those are up in no time! <3

Whenever I think I can't love this story more, you prove me wrong. The last two chapters were absolutely amazing but also heartbreaking. I was tearing up when Jonny was finally being honest about everything. I know it's too soon for Vicky to forgive him. She has to forgive herself first and heal. Inside and out. Jonny needs to do the same. I just want them to be happy together so badly. I think they are perfect to one another. They have so much chemistry.

Like I said in my comment, it's probably going to take a while because they're both broken and real life is difficult, but I'm really pulling for at least a hint of a happy ending when you're done with this story. I think Jonny won't push her after what Lexi said, so maybe Vicky can reach out or they could randomly meet at the Millennium Park.

I can't wait for your next update. I hope school gives you enough time to write the next chapter. In the meantime, I'm going to read the entire story again. <3

haha I just checked that! we are only four short, when it hits 25 I'll be posting the next chapter for sure! I had picked a high number because didn't think I'd get the comments so fast though; I did it to buy some time so I could write at least one more chapter, but you guys are so so awesome! <3

Amazing update. I was okay with Jon acting all weird because he was hurting as well, but this update left me so enraged. Take it as a compliment, please. You wrote it so well, I couldn't help but feel I was witnessing that conversation. Sort of want to smash his head against the nearest wall but that would be too violent. haha ... This will only make Vicky get worse. I can't even begin to imagine what will it take for Jon to realize they belong together and this situation is unbearable, but also for Vicky to take him back. He keeps hurting her. You're a great writer. <3

Oh, you're welcome! <3 So glad that you're updating it more often again. The story has always been good, but it's getting to the great part, the present POV. It makes me laugh when some of the comments say Jon needs to break up with Becca (mine included) when we all know that will happen because Jon mentions it to Coach Q in the first chapters. Considering he said it was "two weeks ago", I guess the breakup must be happening soon... maybe at the party or after. Really hoping the guy steps up. The way you write Vicky's feelings makes my heart break for her.

Obviously it will take a while for their happy ending and there will be plenty of drama, but I'm confident they will end up together. I'm sure you'll write in the best way possible. Keep up the amazing work. :)
