I started learning when I was about three, I know what you mean though! The pronounciations are really hard, and I can never remember the correct sentence patterns if I'm honest. I guess it's just one of my weak points, I'm good at Drama and Art and things like that. x]
I wish I had grown up with a lot of different languages, it would've been cooler from what I've heard of people who have.

Wow. I'm really bad with languages, I wish I could speak more than English though. I don't have the memory/aptitude to learn a language, apparently, heh.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My friend has really dark colouring and lived in Cyprus as a kid, but was born in Wales, so she gets really pissy if people call her a Cyprian. And my friend Francis looks really Italian, half his families from there, but he's lived in Wales all his life, and he has a really posh English accent. It's so stupid!
I'm really pale so people assume I'm either Russian, or it's make-up. >.>
