Lol xD I'm sure you'll do way better than the screenwriters. I think what made it suck so much was the fact that they didn't modernize the dialogue, even though they modernized everything else. It didn't make any sense

I just hope it's better than the '90s movie. I love Leonardo DiCaprio, but that movie sucked -.-

All the movies are the same now. It's ridiculous that nobody can come up with a more original plot.
I forgot '10 things I hate about you' I adore that movie, and 'She's the Man', they've both taken Shakespeare and made it current.

Agree with all of those! especially Leo, he was adorable but now he's kinda weird looking. I do think Brad Pitt has aged quite well though.

80's movies (and I do like 90's movies too) are just brilliant. The plots were more original, it hadn't been done a thousand times before. Plus things were less clogged, like people weren't constantly on cell phones, they made more of an effort to go around to someone's house and see them.
I think the only 'teenage' movies I've liked after 2000 is Mean Girls & Easy A.
- I'm probably forgetting some but those are the only 2 that come to mind right now.
I totally know the scene you mean ;) hjkjkhas you've made me want to watch that movie again. I'll have to tonight XD I think it's because he's controlling in that film. ha I remember the first time I saw it, it was on TV and I was watching it in the lounge and my mom came in to ask me something lol. Luckily there was nothing 'bad' on the screen then. could have been awkward.
It is a shame they have to age :( they should just preserve certain people -like Spader, Rob Lowe, Jason Patric when he was in The Lost Boys, Keanu Reeves, there are many haha.

though actually, I do like him in 'Secretary', which was 2002? so that's kind of older Spader.
