I actually try writing a head when I first start out with a story.

Harry Potter is set in England but filmed in Scotland so i am not entirely sure what system it follows. And no we don't have year seven...is not normal to not have year seven, i'm oblivious, haha:)! Oh, if you did end up looking up a welsh accent, let me know what you think of it!

ok i'll try to explain; we go to primary school, which i think you call elementary, for seven years, from the ages of 4/5 up to 11/12, and then when we go to high school for our first year (12/13) we are called 'first years' then in our second year of high school (13/14), 'second years' and so on, up until we reach 17/18 and are in our sixth year, then that's high school over! still confused? oh, you have ancestors from scotland!? that's pretty cool! and omg yes i love irish accents, but welsh accents...they are really strong, i mean i'm from britain and even i can't understand them sometimes, so i think you may struggle, haha:)

well good luck! well i am from scotland so you would be in 'third year' or 'S3' here, but scotland is different to the rest of the UK so in england, northern ireland or wales you would be in 'year ten'! hahaha what british accent do you like the most, irish, welsh, scottish or english:)?

woah that is a lot of exams, what year are you in? or grade? (i don't know what to call it since i assume you are from america where you say 'grade' but in britain we say 'year'). and i would have done the same, nutella is the cure to everything:)
