No it's not and if your co-writer wont write then go ahead with your story maybe you'll give them some inspiration and they will start writing then :) If it wasn't any good then I wouldn't have commented :) and after one chapter you have 4 comments not bad for a beginning story.

The spacing, primarily. New dialogue (being, from a new character) must start a separate paragraph. You are doing well with the double spacing between paragraphs, but the lack of paragraph breaks for the dialogue could get you into trouble.
