First of all don't feel bad about being on vacation and having a great time (I'm sure). I really hope you enjoyed your tech-free time. But welcome back to the world and the four updates.

Glad you liked them so much.

"I always enjoy your writing" Bless your soul, child. Bless it.

I love writing affectionate Lavin and Harry, but feel like I do so poorly at it. But it was good to see them together again, no matter how brief it was. The little Ben comment was cute. Ben is probably one of my favorite characters.

The polo match was actually very difficult for me. In my other fic about a young tennis professional, despite having many years of tennis under my belt, I can attest that it is SO VERY DIFFICULT to write out a tennis match. And same goes for polo, especially when I've never watched a polo match before. I had to teach myself the game and research things. But it was fun. That's one of the main reasons I love writing is because I can learn so much!

    Happy Thanksgiving.
Merry Christmas, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Stay tuned for new chapters. I plan on spending this night writing and writing and writing. Happy 2013. Woooo!

Hello again! I love writing in perspectives other than Harry's and Lavin's. And I'm really trying to work on how descriptive I am and being more so.

I edit and revise constantly from the moment I start writing a chapter. That chapter actually saw 3 revisions. And yes, I do suffer from writer's block. I either don't know how to start or getting descriptive stops me all together.

I didn't go trick-or-treating and don't anymore, I'm too old. But it's fun getting into the spirit and some Americans go all out with decorations.

No problem! I really enjoy commenting! Your replies always make me do an awkward dance that resembles an epileptic fit ( that's a good thing- I just can't dance...)

If I could reach out and hug you, I would. Your comments are so wondrously thorough and I can't believe you remember how much you remember from my first story. It blows me away in the most humble way possible.

So strange with the parallel between you and Alex.

I thought about the ginger baby for a moment when writing this chapter and how she always stumbles into people who remind her of Harry.

I had to bring the tabloids in, how could I not? I'm in love with her car; it's one of the many things I wish I could pluck out of my story and have in real life.

And to comment on your last comment I could have died happy that you explained it to your friend as if it were a movie. Like, WOW.

And snogging, since I'm not from the UK isn't a term used frequently in America, or at all. If someone said it to me I wouldn't hate it.

Once again thank you for reading and leaving an always excellent comment!

Unfortunately I stay away from Harry stories so that I can't take any ideas from them. But if I ever do come across one, I'll let you know immediately.

Kind of off topic but do you know of any good Harry stories? Wink I've been scouting for a few but most are either abandoned before a plot can be successfully established or not up to par with a certain author!

Thank you for replying to my comments! It really makes my day a little brighter! :D

Just saw your comment about trying to solve the rubix cube. I think Fred might be the one to solve it, him or Alex. Ben would have began using it as a polo ball.

But to the comment you left me on the most recent chapter:

I got the idea for the armchair scene from JM Barrie's Peter Pan when Peter and Wendy are first meeting in the nursery. It's a really intimate scene that Disney left out to make Peter this really harsh, distant character.

I'm glad I made the sadness realistic, sometimes I find it very hard to convey proper emotion where it needs to be conveyed.

Yeah, Lavin's mansion--I only really hinted at it once in a previous chapter. But I found this beautiful picture of an old ivy-colored brick manor on Tumblr and fell in love with this idea of a house solely for a monarch. It's also Lavin's true safe haven, if you will. She's never really allowed anyone else in it besides family members, security, or courtiers--the people that need to be there.

As for their relationship ending on good terms...we will see ;]

Thanks for reading; and, as always, I love your comments and how you dissect them!

I am furiously trying to solve one (a rubid cube), but alas am stumped after solving the first face......
oh well..... I wonder if someone in your story can solve one..... ...

    * Imagines Temperance solving a rubix cube and showing a dishsheveled Alex

    lol! Very Happy

Alexander the Great, hahaha I'm glad you picked up on that. Her little brother would make a great king, and that's why I think Lavin is so swept up in the idea that abdicating would resolve everything.

The tabloid thing is great! I've done it before when Harry and Lavin were getting back together. That's how Caroline found out of their night together. Sometimes I forget there is an world apart from my character. So, thank you for reminding me! I'm going to play with that a little.

And I've played with a Rubix Cube, but never solved one. Nor have I ever owned one. Why do you ask?

LOL Ben is actually one of my favorite characters to write. Putting myself in his mindset is a hilarious experience. I'm gonna have to see after I finish Marching On if I can come up with a decent story line and ambition to start their part of their story.

And please comment all the time :] I wouldn't mind at all. And of course I replied, I usuallllllly do.

You deserve great comments- and I wanted to convey on what I thought about your story/chapter

A prequel would be swell, taking readers on the journey of Lavin and Harry , especially if you write incorporate Harry's service in the military or when they were just teenagers or when there cute little kids.

    * Thought of preteen Ben appears

Wow! Great comment! Thank you! I'm really glad I'm getting the emotions across, sometimes I feel I struggle with that. But yes, I can definitely imagine them as kids--actually I've debated doing a prequel to the first story Running With Lions. But I'm ecstatic that you find my story original. I sort of got my inspiration from reading the fanfictions that only had commoners. And while I'm not from either country I write about I appreciate them just as much, if not more, than my own country.

And perhaps an update soon. Your comment really made my night! Thanks again!
