A Herd of Ducklings? / Comments

I thought of an idea that would be fairly cool for your photography thing. What if you do a story through pictures? Like have each picture be a new chapter?

Although at work last night this really tough looking dude with a mohawk (not spiked up) and like chain pants and stuff came in and was looking through the kids' movies I was putting away. But he was avoiding me at the same time (which was odd because he was standing right in front of me, just on the other side of the self, so I could totally see him) like he couldn't be seen in the childrens' movie section because he was all tough and it was uncool to watch Disney movies when you're "tough". Anyway, thought you might like to know.... made me laugh (silently, of course considering I was pretending I didn't see him....).

As if I'm not already pissed enough about this my dad won't talk to me like I had something to do with it! I feel better today but I was really depressed last night with my dad pretending that I didn't exist and my mom repeating over and over again how much this would cost and how much we can't afford it....

My dad won't talk to me. He won't even look at me.

No problem, I totally know what you mean. If I look up and there's a younger guy there my dad teases me about 'checking him out,' but at least it's better than my mom going, 'Oh, he's pretty cute!' when the guy is within ear shot!

Interesting.... I just finished The Awakening. It was good and, oddly enough, I thought it ended the right way. Usually I don't go for those kinds of endings, but I really thought that that ending fit it....

I reread Coraline (in graphic novel form) and must admit that I found it creepier than I did when I was 12. Although that might also be on account of all the pictures....

I've also started on the Georgia Nicolson confessions series. They're quick reads and hilarious, so if you're ever down in the dumps I would recommend one of those books....
