It depends on your defintion of "a lot". Haha. A good chunk of people do. This thread is where you would want to go to find one. Just read the first entry to figure out how it works and whatnot :)
It does, doesn't it? I think we'd like it to be that way to be honest, but there's a good percentage of amatures.
That sounds interesting. My advice, just write. Write down wherever you think it's going, don't go in and nitpick, you won't get anything done that way. I know, believe me I know, how hard that is. Also along that line, if you are going to post things, I'd suggest you find a beta or someone to read it over before you post a chapter. That way, you aren't the one editing, and it can still be proofread.
Well right now I'm reworking a story I wrote last November. It's called The Ideas of When. It's about a boy that sees the future. I'm not really sure how to explain it beyound that to be honest. Before I took it all down I had like 26 chapters up I think. I just started reposting it, so if you want you can go check that out ;) haha.
Bed is a good idea. Too bad I have the worst sleep pattern known to man. Haha!
I'm SURE you could! I believe in you! Haha. When I read MY old stuff, I imagine my eyes bleeding. Hahaha. Sometimes, it's so bad, I question as to why anyone read it in the first place OR why I wrote it... other times, I'm like, "How was I able to do this before?"
I always have to start by re-reading. So, I guess that's where I'm at... again. I've done this many times the last couple of months. Haha.
Hmm, dream job? I want to combine something with art or design and turn it into a business. I need a steady career first so that management degree will help. I also do really want to write. So all in all, I'm going to travel the world, doodle, and eat pastries. I'll make it work... somehow. Hahaha.
It really is. Haha. Oh, school is fun! I don't want to go out into society and be stuck in a workplace for a very long time... so I'm going to create my own dream job. Hahaha.
Umm, please don't get your hopes up. lol I am only proud of the fact that I write better than a 13-year-old at this point in time. Hahaha. Oh, and the fact that my vampires don't sparkle. Other than that, there isn't anything much praiseworthy (at least not to ME) about my stories.
I will definitely check yours out when you post! I don't remember the last time I was in the zone. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. I can't do it like I used to.
I love the Hunger Games. :) Well I'm a sucker for vampires, demons, gangs, drugs, mafia organizations, mental problems and asylums and a bunch more but I read anything as long as I find it interesting. :) My fav authors are Anne Rice, Melissa de la Cruz, Alyson Noel and Richelle Mead. :)
I can only hope. Haha. Not going to lie, business is difficult. I also find myself wondering whether or not I'm cut out to be a businesswoman and everytime I think about it, the answer is no. However, if I can accomplish this, I'm pretty sure it will be EXTREMELY beneficial to me and will definitely help me in the future whatever that may be.
Oh. Yeah. lol Dang pre/during-adolescence writing. Hahaha. Yes, my vampire (since I'm still only on chapter 5, so he's the only one so far) is pretty scary. Although, it's still the whole, "I'm going to kidnap you, MUHAHAHAHA" type of thing because cliches are way to fun to write. They're fun to write, totally unrealistic, and nice to daydream about. Haha.
I'm sure you'll think of something. Haha. You're just getting back into it! :D It's okay. I've given up too. I'm watching Friends on tv. Ah, also, you can never crazy-perfectionist stop editing it. lol It just happens to me on occasion, too.
@ XXXataktoulaXXX Hi Marian :] I'm Mella. I'm doing good, trying to get a chapter of a story up so that my page isn't so bare, ha. How are you doing tonight?
My spring break is wrapping up. Haha. It's time for me to re-burn myself again with schoolwork. Hahaha. Well, something will come to you, I'm sure.
Hmm, I'm pretty sure it was after you left Quizilla or disappeared for a while, but I had this HORRIBLE vampire story entitled Love For Never... well, I decided to re-write it last summer, but then I realized a month or so later that I basically had to re-construct an entirely new story out of it because what I had was useless. lol And yes, I am still in the vampire phase--I'm afraid the ones that sparkle aren't good enough.
The story I had for NaNoWriMo has been on hiatus, but recently, I felt like working on it and that one's called Riley Rampage's Deepest Darkest Secret. But that story and Tainted Red. are the most active ones I have. I would have more, but then I really would NEVER finish anything ever.
I rambled. I'm sorry.
What are you thinking of? Genre? Audience? Characters?
Well, if it was Mellaiscool, I'm sure you'd be in my friends list somewhere. Hahaha. I wish I had as much willpower as you do. I've done some of my homework and I want to write, but I just can't get myself to do it even though I have three documents open. lol It's been like this for me all week. Haha.
What do you have in mind? Something new or something continued? :)
Never knew that! And that's a good idea. I write mostly fanfiction and original fiction. The genres really differ though. Like, sometimes I'll write romance-ie stuff, other times it'll be crime, horror, etc. I just started writing a new story the other day, it's coming along quite well. c:
What is Quizilla? I've heard people talk about it back in the day, but I was never so sure what it was. :o I love Mibba personally, lots of contests, good stories, and so on. :3 I used to write so much when I was younger, then I stopped. Then I found Mibba many years ago, and was "yeeeessss." And, well, I've been here since. On and off, of course. Though, I've stayed on everyday for the past year. :P
